They produced an album over 25 years ago called Rhythm Country & Blues where in the studio they made duets of Country and R&B singers. It was brilliant idea. Here you have Trisha Yearwood and the haunting voice of Aaron Neville doing I Fall To Pieces classic old 50s song covered by many performers. This to me is the best I ever heard. Other duets include Little Richard & Tanya Tucker but I must say the whole album is a true gem.
Always loved Patsy Cline's version of this song, but this was just beautiful! First time I've heard them do this song. Loved their harmonizing, and Aaron Neville is amazing. Wonderful - thank you very much for your great reactions to this one.
The album "Rhythm, Country and Blues" is a great album and features duets between several Country and Rhythm & Blues artists: "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing" - Vince Gill and Gladys Knight "Funny How Time Slips Away" - Al Green and Lyle Lovett "I Fall to Pieces" - Aaron Neville and Trisha Yearwood "Somethin' Else" - Little Richard and Tanya Tucker "When Something is Wrong with My Baby" - Patti LaBelle and Travis Tritt "Rainy Night in Georgia" - Sam Moore (of the famous duo Sam and Dave) and Conway Twitty "Chain of Fools" - Clint Black and The Pointer Sisters "Since I Fell for You" - Natalie Cole and Reba McEntire "Southern Nights" - Chet Atkins and Allen Toussaint "The Weight" - The Staple Singers and Marty Stuart "Patches" - George Jones and B.B. King
The unique thing about Aaron Neville's voice is his use of tremolo: varying the volume when holding a note. A lot of singers use vibrato -- varying the pitch slightly -- but the use of pure tremolo is relatively rare. It's what gives his voice that whispery, quivery sound. He also sings primarily in falsetto -- what vocalists call "head voice" (as opposed to "chest voice").
This was a beautiful duet! And made even more so with the beautiful voices of Yearwood and Neville. Asia and BJ, if you haven't heard yet, the legendary singer, Tina Turner has passed. Consider reacting to some of her songs as a tribute to an amazing performer and entertainer! RIP Tina!🙏🏻
Asia and BJ, cover song originally sung by Patsy Cline written by Hank Cochan/ Harlan Howard. Aaron Neville often sings with his brothers and Trisha Yearwood is the wife of Garth Brooks...Nice reaction 👊🏾👊🏾👍🏾 Check out the complete CD you won't be disappointed 🎶🎶
This album received critical acclaim and the performers and musicians in this production gave full detailed interviews stating how they enjoyed the experience and were proud of it.
On this same album check out George Jones and BB King singing Patches. Country rhythm and blues. The documentary is also excellent. Surprising combos of musicians from both musical worlds making the point that they share a lot.
The refer to his voice, the voice of an angel! You should try doing some of his earlier back in the days when he started and got famous with “Tell it like it is” and “Everybody plays the Fool”. Saw him before the pandemic again in concert and it was such a pleasure to see I’m again, unfortunately he retired from singing!
Aaron has such a stunning voice..he gives you chills up your spine. I have never heard this duet. If you haven't heard his duet with Linda Ronstadt i promise you that you will be a forever fan of both artist. They are the most perfect duet ever❤.
Aaron does have a beautiful voice and Trisha has a very beautiful and natural voice. She doesn't have to strain her vocal cords at all. She is also a Natural Beauty and Aaron is a very Handsome Man. Great duet. Great reaction y'all.
Absolutely gorgeous song...amazing, thank you for reacting to this! I moved to New Orleans earlier in my life just because of Aaron Neville, he is absolutely unbelievable!
You should visit Patsy Cline‘s version of this. I can’t remember if you guys reviewed Patsy Cline song “crazy” but her voice is insane as well. These voices are all incredible!!! Aaron Neville sounds like an instrument and what’s not to like about Trisha Yearwood and her voice
You should check out the original by Patsy Cline if you haven’t yet I consider “Seven Spanish Angels” by Ray Charles and Willie Nelson to fall into the category of Rhythm County Blues. Ray Charles did a couple of county songs and liked country music
Written by Hank Cochran and Harlan Howard, this song was originally recorded by Patsy Cline and released as a single in 1961. It became one of her biggest hits. Saddly Patsy would die in a plane crash in 1963.
Requested "All My Life" duet by Aaron Neville & Linda Ronstadt a few times hope yall get to react to that in future "Dont Take Away My Heaven" is another one
never come close to Patsy Cline but love Trisha Yearwood on most of her songs!! Hard to listen to cause it reminds me of someone trying to cover a Witney Houston song - who can do anything but come up short.
Do you like Stone temple Pilots? Do you like Guns N’ Roses. Put Scott weiland as the gnr singer and you have Velvet Revolver! Listen to their song “Fall to Pieces”!

What a beautiful Patsy Cline cover. I didn’t know they covered this.
They won a Grammy for this duet and Aaron Neville is kind of eclectic vocalist. He can fit to R&B, Pop, Country, Jazz and Gospel.
You guys need to do more Trisha Yearwood!!! “How Do I Live” “You’re Where I Belong” “This Is Me You’re Talking To” “In Another’s Eyes”
Aarons voice is amazing

I agree. He has a very unusual voice and one of the best Christmas CDs. I have is Aaron Nevels soulful Christmas. It’s awesome.
Wow Rip Tina Turner just saw the news , that’s sad on many levels
I love hearing Trisha Yearwood. She has one of the finest voices around today and Georgia Rain was a beautiful song that she did.
Written by Hank Cochran and Harlan Howard, this song was originally recorded by Patsy Cline and released as a single in 1961. It became one of her biggest hits. Saddly Patsy would die in a plane crash in 1963.
I like Trisha and Aaron as much as I like Linda and Aaron, and for me, that's sayin' somethin' y'all! 🎶💞
Aaron has the voice of what I think of when I try to imagine how an Angel would sound. A God Given Gift and a true legend of Nawlins
If you haven't yet you have to check out Aaron Neville's cover of Ave Maria. Its incredible.
For us old timers, this will always be Patsy Cline's song. But this is so beautiful that she would love it too! God bless you
Y'all need to give a listen to Bonnie Raitt, Aaron Neville & Gregg Allman -Tell it like it is. Live version and here on RUclips. Awesome.

Patsy Cline cover
Very good but I prefer the original by Patsy Cline. One mans opinion.
Nice rendition but for me Patsy Cline's version will never be bettered
Very disappointed. They are both excellent singers, and I’m surprised how they interpreted the song.
