10:18 the plot twist is absolutely disgusting,again we see a trend with colleens books,she uses her main characters trauma,which is totally her choice as an author,she uses her trauma as a plot twist,that’s just wrong

I finished November 9 a couple of hours ago and believe me when I say that this book was a strugggggle to get through! It didn’t really pick up until the second half and I was very disappointed in the character development from the beginning. I found it difficult to get through the dialogue between Ben and Fallon because it was both mature and immature at the same time. It just wasn’t believable or relatable on any level. Like others in the comments, I struggled with how weak Colleen Hoover made Fallon’s character and used her trauma as a plot point and then manufactured this bs happy ending…what??‽ It just felt like lazy writing in my opinion and I had high hopes for this one! Thank you for reviewing and letting us experience the read with you! (Taking a Coho break for a little while but it sounds like Ugly Love might be worth a read!)
