If neigbour has outdoor cat, Which actually is fairly common on countryside. Though different places have different rules so...
Anyhow... If it's a hot summer day, and your house is getting hot, you might have some doors/windows open so the air would change... at least if you don't have AC.
And if by some chance the neigbours cat happens to run in... well, It's not unheard of.

Hey hey I think how it all happened btw is the cat got through the dog door and was trying to sneak in to steal some food and then what happened is that the dog was chasing the cat and then they must've exploded something like firecrackers or smth
