Henk and Floor, I just love how well they work together. The backstory of how Floor idolized Henk in the Phantom of the Opera, and then them becoming good friends on Beste Zangers is the stuff of movies. haha. Thank you for reacting to this.
I think this genuine friendship, admiration of each other grew from as they got to know each other through Baste Zangers TV show. But I think Henk Poort said on the show Good music is Good Music. He himself doesn't like being put into one genre .
Floor, it goes without saying, was phenomenal. BUT Henk was all over this cover. I'm a big fan of his and my one regret is not seeing him as Jean Valjean in Les Mis. I must've seen just about every other major lead who did it and I can hear his Valjean character in this even though it's an entirely different show.

this video was shot separately for both Floor in Sweden and Henk in the Netherlands and those 2 videos are mixed into one video together and it works so well together already. there is now a LIVE video of the two of them together on a stage in the Netherlands! . well that sound quality and video quality are not top because it is a Fan-video made with a phone I think. BUT you can very nicely see the interplay of those two together on a stage as could be seen in the Phantom of the opera

Floor is now traveling. She had to for the virtual shows they had a couple weeks ago. Her and Henk recorded this weeks ago (she was wearing this dress during one of her live streams and she mentioned a duet she was working on). So happy she is able to get back to doing what she loves 🖤

Before this i watched the original Broadway 1997 performance starring Linda Eder and Robert Cuccioli. It was a very passionate performance. Here we are a little lacking the physical connection. It's not their fault, it's Corona's fault. 😅👍
