  • In our new video you can learn how to protect a HAURATON slotted channel from dirt during installation or concreting.
By masking the drainage channel before installation, it is prevented that too much coarse dirt gets into the channel during installation.
With the slotted channel, the joints are first covered without pulling the adhesive tape over the slot. When masking the slot opening, the protruding adhesive tape should be carefully cut to size so that the adhesive tape is no longer visible after concreting. Subsequent trimming would be very difficult.
Masking the slotted channel prevents coarse dirt from getting into it. In addition, this prevents the covers from slipping and offsetting when the channel is installed.
Tools for masking the drainage channel:
    - Scissors
    - Adhesive tape
    - Cutter knife
    - Work gloves
