  • Part 2 of our new series elaborates on a question we were posed recently - "Why does MWC champion mechanical watches over smartwatches?"
Well, we had a think, and here's our answer.

I'm liking this company. No nonsensical talk about shaking up the luxury watch market or cutting out the middleman. There's no buffoonish minimalist dials that are just copies of ali watches with questionable movements.

I realize it's kind of off topic but does anyone know a good place to stream new movies online ?

Who is wearing the oura ring? Some lovely shots in the video Gordon.

That's not an Oura Ring (had to Google what an Oura Ring is...) - it's a regular non-smart ring used to keep Gordon's wedding ring on his finger.

Excellent video with nothing but the truth being spoken. This would be an heirloom whole a smartwatch is a space holder in a drawer.

For me a Watch has to have springs, cogs and wheels, I am no watch snob (not with my income) but maybe I am the older generation of wearers that see the longevity and craftsmanship in such a product, no batteries or gimmicks just Tick tock I'm a clock reliability.
I suppose you could compare the same to Deisel-electric locomotives and steam, the steam engines seem alive, a living, breathing, beating object, I have quartz watches that are good but I never get attached as I do a Real watch.
Apple watches and all these inglorious tracking devices are just fashion with NO place on my arm.
I am SERIOUSLY considering one of these "Marloe" Atlantic watches, I the think the use of the Seiko ne88a is inspired, rather than the ETA Valjoux 7750 which though still great is showing its age. (The Swiss have had their own way for too long)
I wish I could make up my mind as to which watch to get as £1000 is a lot of money on anything let alone a watch and the result of a year's savings.
    Regards.
