Never heard of this group before; I won't forget them. Caroline Shaw is a familiar composer but I've not heard "Orange." I can fix that. A real pleasure.
BRAVO!! I absolutely ADORE Attacca Quartet. Entr’acte (the first piece they perform) has been my favourite piece composed for a quartet since Fall 2016 when I had the great privilege of being there the first time Attacca Quartet played it before an audience. Watching them perform is an experience of which I’ll never tire. The chemistry between the musicians is sublime. They never fail to deliver an exciting, passion-filled performance. The album, ORANGE, is an absolutely gorgeous work.
Boring. quite silly I could not force myself to listen to the whole thing. i cannot believe this group is dong the complete Beethoven. I guess they have to regain their sense of excellence. Shaw is a true light wait.

The Attacca Quartet is a fine group. There are great new quartets out there which are light years better than Shaw that need playing.
