    My National Guard Soldiers use this MOS in the civilian world and became very efficient in this MOS world, I loved what they do.

    Spent five years as a 12B and was reclassed 12N my last year. Going full pog had its benefits.

      When did you serve? And you were allowed to serve in an MOS for only a year?

      @@SuperColonel91 14-20. And no. They reclassified me my last 9-10 months at my unit. We needed a heavy equipment platoon. I had several LOD’s so they ended up putting me in that platoon.
      That being said, if you have good APFT and now ACFT scores. You can kind of negotiate what you want near the end of contracts as an incentive to reup.

      Been in the Corps since 2016.
      What is LOD?

    I was a Heavy Construction Equipment Operator in the US Army 1986-1990. Back then the MOS was 62E

    You better PMCS your vehicles the right way. It makes it easier for mechanics (that's me) to fix

    I'm assuming they have civilians do this as well? 8 weeks ain't long enough to be a good operator. Been doing it 10 years and still learning constantly.

      Your being trained by people who’ve been doing this MOS easily 15-20 years, military doesn’t put instructors in charge of things like this that don’t have experience

      Something in the 91 series; like a Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic or a Track Vehicle Mechanic or a Construction Equipment Specialist.
