Now see there's the problem right in the title. It shouldn't be exploding fruit in *4K* , it should be exploding fruit in *100K fps*

I really agree for explosions. 1000fps is not enough for things that happen so fast.
Because RUclips is producing it and they would rather reduce slowness by 10x than lower the resolution a little bit. Defeating the entire purpose of the show.

It's good quality and all but they should focus on the slow part, not the flashy 4K part. Like a watermelon exploding at 100k fps would be f***ing amazing. While this is just eh cool.

That's ok, because I don't understand why someone would complain about this going 1000fps. The best parts of this show was always the details, the crispness, seeing it hanging in midair and slowly ripple, every detail of the shockwave or burst, etc....so, yeah, better resolution over frame rate is the most obvious and sensible choice for these slower videos, fruit flying doesn't require 100,000 fps.
Also, "massive crew and limitless resources"? hahaha
Y'all need up upscale the fps... 1000fps isn't enough to be considered the slow mo channel anymore... I want to see 15k fps...
SO many people have not listened to what was said in the first vid of this series - this was a RUclips-commissioned project and is only for 12 weeks and then things go back to normal. It's not their choice what is happening. If you dont' like it tell RUclips not to do it again. The guys have no control over this.
YT mandated you may _not_ use _any_ 15k fps at any time for any portion of any of these vids?
I'm just tired of only seeing 1000 fps...
RUclips told them they have to film in 4k. The fastest fps they can film 4k at is 1000 fps. If they want to do faster fps, the resolution goes down, and since they cant go lower than 4k because of what the rules set on them for this project, we are stuck at 1k fps

Please film some things in even slower motion... you guys usually only use like 1000 fps, but we all know you can go much slower then that. Some of these would be interesting in even slower motion.

Adam Name yeah something's up with that. It's seldom to so clearly see encoding artifacts in this day.
Yeah, wonder what the max. bitrate was and if it was VBR 2-pass encoding and in which format they uploaded... Because I just uploaded my first real video (with a production buddget I mean) to youtube and having issues with this as well... world famous filmmaker Philipp Bloom actually suggests uploading ProRes, because RUclips encodes any video again after upload and if you do a h.264 compression with an h.264 source... well... it becomes artifact-tastic rather quickly. Have yet to try that though.

This channel is gaining subs but it is also losing so many of the long term subs because a lot of the people who subscribed for 100,000 FPS videos think that the new semi-slow show is the new permanent video style and not just a few month series to reach new audiences.

I agree that this fruit has been wasted, because its not been eaten. However its not wasted because they got a video out of it. THey bought the fruit, so they can do whatever they want with it.
Well guys in my opinion everybody is different yes they brought it and yes they did make a video so its not fully being waisted but siriusly mainly said they feel uncomfortable everyone has different thoughts so we cant really change what is thought although everyone has had very understandable points
