Terry's the King for so many reasons but using vertical bookmarks is low key one of his most divine ideas. He casually does the same sort of thing in the OS a bunch too. Like his shortcuts and hotkeys are super odd when you first start using the OS and he never explains his reasoning for using the odd configuration but once you figure out that your supposed to use your right hand to press right ctrl, right shift, and right alt instead of using your left hand to press left ctrl, left shift, left alt you'll realize why he never thought to mention it. It becomes so obvious that the keyboard was meant to be used with right hand pressing the modifying keys that it would be like explaining how to breathe for someone thats always used the keyboard that way.

While I do agree that Trolls taking advantage of his sickness is reprehensable, I doubt things would have gone much differently even without them. At most they may have sped things up a little, but it's not an illness that'll magically get better overnight and from what I understand he stopped taking his medication, which made him act out more than before. As sad as it sounds, but I think what happened to him was inevitable. I'm just sad we lost an absolute genius when it comes to coding. Terry deserved more from life.
@@NPC-00361 I am aware of that. But the drum kit was just one reason of why he got kicked out. He was suffering from extreme paranoia, which led to him and his parents having multiple fights. The drum kit just added fuel to the fire. Again, they definitely sped things up with their trolling, but they are definitely not the only reason. Like...don't kid yourself please. An illness like this is extremely bad and when left untreated (as in not taking your proper medication etc) then you'll spiral out of control sooner or later.

He was known for 'air drumming' and who knows, maybe playing an instrument would've helped stay active and distract from his illness? It just didn't work out because you know... giving a mentally ill man who still lives with his parents the loudest and bulkiest musical instrument one can readily buy isn't really a good idea, even if you mean it well. I could be wrong though.

That is actually untrue, it got worse after Terry stopped taking his medications, which also led his parents to kick him out. He said the pills weaken his connection to god.
