For anyone still concerned, the servers are largely fixed by now. You usually just have to wait a couple minutes at most to get into a multiplayer game now.

Pyro if you find a pre-workout without beta alanine it wont give you that tingly sensation. Its supposed to increase muscular endurance slightly but if youre only lifting weights it does not matter. And the slight increase is probably not worth the pins and needles
by the way, to add on to the servers thing, around 2-3 weeks prior to full release, they did a "Stress Test" for the game where the goal was to make the servers tank as much as the beta testers can. so they really have no excuse on the shitty launch

The matching problems where a problem with the provider (the provider promised they could handle that many people but they couldn't). If you play now it works perfectly as they have switched providers.

there is a way to play offline, with a mod, but in offline heists you don't gain any XP or money... so it's only good if you wanna practice most likely, and don't care about progression

In Homefront North Korea is basically China 100%. In The Revolution North Korea releases TONS of new technologies like new smartphones and such and the U.S ends up DEEP in debt to them so much the U.S actually defaults on its' debt to NK and they use a backdoor in their technology to basically shut off the entire US Army infrastructure and at first are meant to bring aid and peace but over time it's a brutal occupation.

Dedicated servers are great, because it means you don't have to rely on the host having a powerful enough PC or fast enough internet. But they are bad if you cannot self-host them. If the company decides to shut down or their servers cannot handle the load, the game is unplayable and your money wasted. Plus you cannot mod the game, which is a big letdown considering how much Payday 2 was enhanced by mods, playing with mods was/is a must

But you are right that games should have both dedicated and player server hosting. With only one there will be flaws like a cheating epidemic in GTA or servers being permanently shut down.
@@aiden4112 GTA Online is a poor example, because for me cheating kept the game fun. It's incredibly grindy, so I just hacked money instead of grinding for hours just to buy a single car. Back when I played legit you'd have to grind for about 11 hours while doing the strat perfectly, just to buy the 4.750 mil Deluxo, I am NOT grinding for 11 hours just to unlock a single item. Not to mention that without abusing singleplayer public sessions through firewall rules it would take way longer with idiots griefing your progress (especially after adding Oppressor Mk. II) and for that you don't even need cheats. It also made playing with friends more fun when we can just goof around with any cars without having to own them.
Payday 3 is honestly a really fun game past the whole server issues though, I can't really convince people to buy a game that literally just doesn't work.
