Nice mate! Never seen any X100 used for landscape work until now. Just bought an original X100 so will have to take it out and give it a go for this kind of thing 🤙

Thanks mate, it's such a great system. I love the way you can just focus on taking photos and not lens choices and the rest. The L-Bracket is awesome, the Nisi filter set is a nice to have.
Saying this I do enjoy stripping the camera back and using it as an everyday cam. So versatile!
Nice, the X100 is awesome. the Filter set works on that also. They are only $99....
      Thanks for watching bro

@@bernieshore Thats the beauty of the X100 and even X-T series eh! You can see why so many people love it.
Probably won't be using my X100 for much more than an everyday/street camera so unlikely I'll buy the filters. That being said I do have my eye on the X-T5 as a landscape camera since my XH2s is pretty much exclusively for video now.

excellent video. please create some more videos using x100v with nisi filters. If possible, then teach us about long-exposure photography using the same accessories. Eager to learn from you. thanks.

Really good intro to landscape on the x100. Well done. When you take this travelling do you enjoy it or do you find yourself missing a more typical landscape system with wider lenses etc?

Thanks for your comment Kevin, this is a tough question. I think it depends on the type of travelling. I'm on a family holiday to Japan next month with lots of skiing so the X100V will be used greatly. If I hear back to Iceland or went somewhere like the Dolomites, I'll have the X100V around my neck always, but I'd also take the GFX or X-H2 and 2+ lenses. I think the destination and type of holiday plays a role in the decision but also my state of mind going into the trip. If I'm really trying to simplify I'll just take the X100V and really use it in every different way I can to get a result and enjoy that experience of creating with less. Sometimes traveling with too much and ruin the experience.

Looks like a very interesting video. Will look at it properly later (I have the X100F). Meanwhile, are you going to post links to the equipment? It would be useful (and might earn you a little income?) Also, I noticed that you operate your camera with gloves on - do you have any recommendations for photographer gloves?

Thanks mate, great feedback. Sorry posted last yesterday so didn't get the links up.
In regards to gloves I use the North Face gloves with the E-Tip, allows use with phone and other touch screens. These have lasted me 18months of hard use. Not bulky either which is great. Highly recommended. If it gets into minus territory they won't be enough though.
      Appreciate you support :)
