- In this video I quickly and clearly show you how to change the resin in your DI Tank for window cleaning.
Check this DI Tank out on Amazon by clicking here: amzn.to/2jGzla8
Or get the complete DI Tanks setup here: windows101.com/shop/product_in...
Always change the resin once your water starts to hit about 7 ppm (parts per million). Anything above that and you will start to leave faint streaks on the windows.
You will also need a TDS Meter to check the ppm (parts per million) of your water to know when to change it: amzn.to/2jf3p0B
The most inexpensive Resin I've found on Windows101: windows101.com/shop/product_in...
If you are looking for a great DI Tank for your window cleaning business, I recommend this one! You get 500 gallons of pure water (if the average water hardness is 100 ppm) which is a lot of pure water compared to other tanks I have researched.

Amazon has a new tank that is smaller and cheaper than the one I use in this video and is useful for automotive cleaning: amzn.to/2IFcBHg
Do you know that you recharge of resin? Delayed response, have a blessed day 🤓
6 years later and you helped me make my first resin change out on my Xero! Thank you!
Fantastic 😁
Thanks for the helpful tips.
Thanks for the video!
Good video
I don't have the same tank but this video is pretty much straightforward, thanks!
Was cleaning a house today at 38ppm and it left spots so I will have to clean it again next week for free. Customer satisfaction I guess? XD
Haha! I think we all have to learn that lesson. I did it myself.
Hi there, my friend. How long can you keep a bag of resin for once it's been opened
how often do you change the carbon filter?
Can you please tell me what parts do I need to buy to add a filter to my tank,I wanna make same like yours from this video, many thanks!
Did you ever get an answer
i took a gallon milk jug cut the top 4 inches off & use a funnel to pour from bag, works great.
What resin did you used.?
What is that other filter inline?
Thanks for the vid! Where'd you get your DI/Filter setup? Or did you DIY/mix & match?
Thanks! The tank came completely set up as you see it. I put an Amazon link in the description if you want to check it out!
What filter are you using .?
Where can I buy a tank like that?
What is it that you have attached to your di? Does that prolong the life?
approx how much will adding and ro membrane to my di system extend the resin life?
Here: www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/resin-calculator.html use this link to calculate how much you can save by using an RO prior to the DI. For example - if your feed water is 385 and RO rejection is 96% you will have around 11PPM of product water. Input that figure into the calculator - say you will use 40L of product water for 2x days a week with a 10L mix bead resin, you will have theoretically 318 weeks worth of working DI resin. But keep in mind that DI resin will start to degrade after a year of installation despite how little your throughput is.
How many gallons this tanks gives you
What size is the pre filter. Micron wise. Thanks
I am not sure off the top of my head but you can probably look into the specs of everything by looking it online. I put links to the tank setup in the description.
I am up here in CDA and was wondering who you use to get your DI tanks from? Cost?Brandon
I order from Windows101 but I don't know if they ship to Canada. You can also order them on Amazon. I made a video about this tank here:
ruclips.net/video/f19g41-3FE0/видео.html
is tha t Camaro connected by blue tooth with you phone
Most companies that sell these tanks suggest filling up the tanks with resin about two inches from the top. Interesting you stop at 3/4 from the top.
Do you leave the tank full in between jobs and while storing? Water that is...how do I drain between jobs I have a much larger tank..
I need to know this as well!
