Outstanding! I have to say, though, that a good instructor not only knows how to do it, he also knows how to teach others how to do it. Belton has some good materials up on YT, I think he is excellent. He is a real asset to the martial arts world.
thank you for inspiring, if i make it out this pandemic well and healthy, i would like to pursue my martial arts journey and perhaps maybe test myself as well. i want to keep my roots alive.
@@beltonlubas4120 makes sense. Can you tell me the difference between GM taboada Balintawak and GM tabimina Balintawak. I got the sense that tabimina system is reaction based. Is it same for taboada Balintawak as well?
@@beltonlubas4120 forgive me but I have never seen your Balintawak based blade videos. In fact I don't see much knife based videos in Balintawak. Is Balintawak more stick based than blade? Or the stick movements can be transferred to blade as well?
At 54 my Journey started in Balintawak last week under Guru Cabatoge...Peace and Blessings to my new family around the globe...

Congratulations! Good stuff!
Feel like you have inserted PTK in Balintawak especially those ground work.
GM did ask to display some of the other arts I do. So you’ll see Muay Thai. Bjj. Worden defense. And PTK

@@xoda345 it’s a bit tighter snd yes. They don’t break it down formally into curriculum. The Influence on the tighter play is evident.

@@xoda345 yes. It is more impact based. But you CAN translate it to blade
