I was on the fence about the two sets. After a week of deciding, the Twins won out easily. They are BEAUTIFULLY done! SO many fantastic details with them, and I LOVE the bubble gum.
I love the goth Chanel! 🖤 One thing I never liked about Bella was that she wore a Chanel suit but had a shirt under that didn't match the outfit. Veronica's goth Chanel is 🔥
Storm twins are gorgeous i love them but i feel like for a kid ainsley , avery styles and also amaya rain are such a better gift its a wow gift on amaya u get to dye her hair and ainsley and avery come with so much clothes u get a lot more fun changing them and i feel like for a kid its a lot more attractive for an adult the twins are amazing i loooove them
I like the twins,, How ever for the price point ,I would like to have seen a magnate used for the bubble gum, I like having the choice of removing it ..
I love Ainsley and how she has all those clothes but the twins looks being mostly monochromatic like the other Shadow High dolls combined with those small bits of colours are amazing. It's a bummer that the bubblegum stays in the mouth, but thats my only issue, I'd proberbly keep it in anyhow as I mainly display them. Also Ainsley does have risk of loss of clothes, unless you have the closet set or a box for your doll clothes (which i dont have one, big sad ;-;). Both asthetics are enjoyable though, the twins being hard goth just makes me ADORE THEM even more. I don't own any Rainbow/Shadow High dolls yet, but if I could pick between these two, I would most likely go for the twins, and get Ainsley later down the line.
The Storm Twins are my favorite dolls that Shadow/Rainbow High released so far. I love their color scheme, their aesthetic is very aestheticly pleasing, and their clothes are amazing. I got them very soon after they were released, and I can't help but stare are them sometimes because they are so breathtakingly beautiful to me to me. I also love the Storm Twins's nails, because I love growing my nails out and its nice to see representation for people with long nails. I want to get Ainsley once I save up for her as well, but I see a lot of dolls of her in store that have wonky eyes for some reason.
Ok the storm twins imo are WAYYYY better! Honestly I miss the whole grayscale concept of shadow high! We need the grayscale dolls back! That was the whole point and concept of shadow high!

OMG very pretty dolls! Twins over Avery though for that price point, just the quality issues and lack of earrings/bag in the Avery. But also I feel Adults in general will lean more toward the Twins for quality but kids will want Avery for the clothing options.

What's always bothered me about Ainsley is the stock image has a vastly different lip colour which I actually prefer and Ainsley in show has more sleepy eyes and the wide eyes just don't feel like her. I want Ainsley because I like the character but the face just isn't her and that's why I'm so conflicted.
I'm always wondering how they even come up with these prices. Like, does one set of clothes cost 10 bucks and the doll with hair etc also 10? Because if yes, why is Ainsley 60 and not 50 (bcuz doll 10 and 4 sets of clothes so 40 bucks clothes), because yes, Ainsleys clothes look great, but I don't feel like they're more than.. Idk, Lilas clothes, also she has the first wave face. I can understand the Twins price. 60 bucks, two dolls. Sure, a little bit less considering they only have one outfit would be nice, on the other hand I feel like their outfits are a lot plus they have functioning bags. My thing with fashion trunk doll is that she is $60 because she comes with multiple outfits. Two shadow high or 2 rainbow high dolls are $30 each. 2 dolls that come with two outfits and two pair of shoes X 2 doll sets =$60 as well and you are getting two different dolls. I think the fashion truck doll should have been $40
Hard choice to make, all of the dolls are just beautiful. But, I am not a fan of the bubble gum being permanently on. Don't get me wrong, the bubble is cute, but then I would want to take it off. I have to buy all of them and have a ball changing out all those gorgeous clothes. Try using rubbing alcohol with a Qtip and gently rub off the black stains. I ordered the twins over a month ago and still don't have them... TwT I think they have super pretty faces and great colours and (while I will definitely be restyling them) their clothes will definitely find new homes on various other dolls as they have some great pieces. :) On the other hand there's Ainsley, who I personally don't like at all. I don't like the doll itself and I realised after watching a few unboxings that I don't like many of her outfit pieces. While she definitely has some gems, the majority of it would probably sit in my drawer and never actually be used on any of my dolls. :P I may get her if she's ever on sale for a decent price (then resell the doll on ebay with outfit pieces I would likely never use) but otherwise she's a pass for me. That being said, for people who like both, Ainsley is probably the more logical choice if you already have at least one other doll. 🤷♀️
I prefer Ainsley over the twins. I still have a theory that Ainsley is related to the twins in someway or she was being blackmailed into switching over to shadow high. She looks so much like them. Either her and the twins or her and glitch are related cuz they have the same color scheme almost. I really like Ainsley's oil slick bodysuit and the 3 outfits vs two dolls i would rather have extra outfits vs an extra doll. The twins remind me of when bratz came out with a set of twin dolls packaged together. I wanted them but instead my dad bought me two of jades. I was upset but he did his best to find them and compromised a solution for me.

Ainsley’s boots are a black version of Lyric’s from the Rainbow High rockstars.

I like the concept but you have to admit there’s only so many shades of grey you can make into dolls so I get going into darker colors
