For anybody else out there like me, this WILL WORK FOR GK TECH, Strike Fast Short Shifter also. I couldn't find specific videos with this much detail for the g k tech version, but this is just about the same. Thank you for this video.

id love the billet shifters but I have the 07 model that has a hazard button right on the shifter and i may have to cut that and possibly relocate
I believe that you only have to cut the front of the shift boot/trim. I think it’s specifies on their website. It might work for you 👍🏼
@@Zorbii possibly, from what I saw on pictures, others had to remove the hazard button on the middle

Yes, but removing the original shifter is what required me to drop the transmission.

Why did you have to drop the trans bracket for?
Because the original shifter bracket doesn’t have enough room to remove the bolts on top of the trans.
