I was confused as hell with Witcher s2. I get the things you said at like 1:08:30 - 1:11:11. Those are the only things i get. Everything else is a mess. You are not alone.
I've never seen any Dark Souls ever (except for in the best of Barb series) and this is kind of exactly what I expect it to be like based on 2nd and 3rd hand experiences. I'm sorry you have to play Tooie. I Love BK1, and Tooie is just a mess. Everything stupid and annoying about the first one is just cranked to 11.

I had a dream last night that barb banned me from his chat. He had the camera zoomed in on his facial hair for some reason. I said "i dont usually spend so much time looking at someone elses facial hair" and i was banned for it.
He probably knows about that guy, but consider this: Every one of the dozen or so hollows chilling at the bottom of the elevator is randomized. Not so free a trip as you suppose, eh? (At least I think that's how it'd work.)
@@peterpeladon Yeah, but if you manage to get to the cliff you could quit & reload to reset mobs and have some time to spend the souls and fix the equipment. I've used that trick so many times it's almost a must on randomized runs.
