I love my edge device, admidetly at first i was a bit ashamed since every other reviewer seamed to be biased against it.. i get the launched sucked and all with the 5g model, but i dont care lol .. i need to know if its good not all thay extra ish... so refreshing P.S. I also gave up my big phone, always had the note or ultra phablets.. I got a flip 5 now and my screen time and pocket presence has dropped there so this edge device fills in the gap and I use it as a bigger phone/tablet.. plus I used to love my samsung tablet 7 and this anit thay much smaller.. to me tablets now a days are too big, just some portable monitor now.. okay rant over have a blessed day!
I ended up getting the kishi ultra to go with mine and it's been a game changer. I loved the edge already but after using the ridiculously priced ultra controller I can't put it down
Hi :) I don't think this is the right video to ask you this question but I'll try anyway. The retroid pocket 5 will be released soon, which as they say will have a snapdragon 665 CPU and 8gb of LPDDR4x ram. Compared to a Razer Edge, which actually has a Snapdragon 888+ CPU and 6gb of LPDDR5x ram, do you think it will perform better or less? I would like to understand which of the two, in case you wanted to emulate the switch, would be more suitable. Thanks in advance!
The whole idea of a separate controller attached to a tablet makes lots of sense and gives amazing versatility to the device. But Razer has to improve certain things. The tablet must be at least 7.2" (8'' like the PS portal would be amazing) otherwise as many viewers said, you can use your phone instead. In that size there is a valid reason to use the Razer instead of your phone and also to use the tablet for other content consumption. It would make perfect sense and I would buy one tomorrow, as with one purchase, I would have a tablet, a gaming console and a controller to use with my phone when I don't wanna carry the edge around.
Hi, In my country(México) the price of the Razer Edge its low close to 300 dollars so i bought it, my device has not arrive yet but I think its good tablet with a control cause a that size I dont see a Android tablet with a good specifications like the Razer have so I hope that I made a good purchase, have a nice day
The device’s fan noise is excessive, even when I am only streaming and not playing any Android games. Another issue is that it still runs on Android 12.
@@TechJamome either. The speakers are so good you'd have to turn the sound off for me to notice it. Although the fan does come on sometimes with just web browsing
You get a little more with 5g version and you can use the other usb c and Bluetooth controllers as well with your razer Edge
I've seen these games running on AYN Odin Pro and Logitech G Could and it runs great on Razer Edge when you had them.
Yeah they've got a decent processor in here for android games, don't be fooled by its size lol
Thanks for the review bro I'm interested in getting one myself and I found your video a big help with that decision 😁
Ayeee glad it helped!
@@TechJamo Hi. I can't find the game in the video. "Kirks Adventure"... Is the title right? 'Cause I can't find results with that title
