great explaining thank you , 5G as any new trend to the market make lot of questions blow up in mind here is some of mine 1. can we use 5G mmwave for both mobile and FWA ? both working on the same macro base station ? is there any deployment like this anywhere in US ? 2. is there any microwave links that can support 5G mid band or mmwave if there was no fiber in this place ? is it practicable to use microwave links for 5g deployment ? 3. nokia claims that its 5G fWA FWA can be used within 6km and still getting 1Gbps do you think its true ? or just marketing propaganda ? thank you for your kind response
Hi Kohzen, you can use 5G for FWA, however, keep in mind mmWave (L2) 5G does not propagate well, nor penetrate buildings- so it has limitations. You don’t see mmWave on Macro sites- that mostly done via Small Cells. 2 - Yes, there are options for microwave BH links, but they tend to be too bulky and expensive for small cells. It’s rare to see a microwave link for a small cell, back-haul. Sprint tried that, using their lowest usage frequencies to promote 2.5. it had mixed results. 3 - Claims by OEM’s are typically ‘best-case’ scenarios and while can be proven, are typically NOT what we see in ‘real world’ conditions with fading, traffic loading and interference factored in. 1GBPS+ DL is mostly limited to mmWave 5G (L2), which has a practical range of about 1KM, best case. L1 can reach much farther, but the speeds are less impressive. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!
@@cellularwirelessunmasked3120 don't say hope this help because indeed it does , thank you alot , I'm good at asking questions one day you say stop it please :D hope you stay safe and sound and thank you again
Great work Martin!!!
Thanks Brandon! I try and share what I know! Appreciate the support.
LOVE IT (even though I dont know what the heck anything you said meant)
Thank you for watching LRS! ;)
Great job !
Thanks!
Nice job!
Thank you!
