- Full gearbox restoration for my electric Volkswagen T3 Syncro.

He added a special oil cooling and sprinkler system to preserve the gearbox from over heating with the high torque of the electric motor.

Excellent job! I like the extra cooling. In the desert, that will be a very needed item! @kombilife, this is something you might want to consider at some point in your travels should something break down.

Boy! He knows what he is doing. But I never heard that gearbox cooling is necessary for icetoev conversion.

Ah, je vois que mes commentaires il y a fort longtemps ne sont pas tombés dans l'oreille d'un sourd :)
Un petit détail, la boule en plastique sur le sélecteur, remplace la par une neuve, c'est emmanché de force sur la pièce en métal. Tu noteras qu'elle est passé de blanc à jaune mais surtout marron en haut. Quand c'est marron, ça devient cassant, elle te lâchera en cours de route....

I'm new to this channel, and would like to do an EV conversation in the future, my girlfriend and I are saving for an old diesel van, a vauxhall vivaro high top lwb, we plan to first drive it with its existing engine and use it as a camper, but we'd like to know how much it would cost us to convert it to an EV, and what kind of range to expect? We would be making a 500 mile trip from Scotland to the south of England twice a year, but mostly we would be exploring Scotland and the national parks of North England.

Bonjour alors combien pour tout ça :) et pas jugé utile de mettre le découpleur ? Ça économise la mécanique et aurai fait gagné un peu d'autonomie sur les parcours ne nessecitant pas les 4 roues motrice. En tout cas sacré boulot.
Ca a été prouvé par une étude de SDP qu'avec un visco en bon état de marche tu réduis le stress en AWD sur ta Bv et que tu consommes même un poil moins. Je ne voulais pas le croire moi non plus! Tombé sur le cul....

Hi , I have a broken ear on the transmission for the rubber mount . Can the tailstock be pulled off without pulling the transmission ? I have a guy who I think can weld it back on . It is a 1986 Dokas Syncro . I think this would save a ton of work if it can be done this way .
What’s up actually with the viscous coupling?, you don’t seem to have a 3rd diff lock on your syncro right? But when you had the bus lifted and the motor installed it only spinner the rear wheels, so what about that 4wd ? 😌😏

in a sec 3:08 there is a back door visible from shop owner's vw t3 (I'm guessing it's his). Is the inscription VOLKSWAGEN welded on from some other model? Is this from Caddy mk 1?

Pour avoir des Cox je fréquente des gars qui mettent des tdi dans les combi et ils font plus de 200Nm. Et ils roulent beaucoup avec, pour une conso modeste.
