I find myself more often than not driving my spring district while headed to downtown bellevue, nice to see what the meta office looks like from the inside. Always wondered how it'd look.

Hey future Food Review host. Happy to see your latest video. Guessed myself that you will have your dinner at Sisi Kay. You mentioned about pad thai or something in your previous video. And Takenaka sets are crazy reasonable.
And im always about broth. Your noodles and the miso (if im not wrong) mustve been the best.
And thanks for trying out Malaysia's place. I think the pandan "kueh" ou were trying was, (if its glutinuos rice, the white color one with pandan/green layer), its Seri Muka. If its jelly like, then it could be Tepung Pelita. Not that you need to know that haha. But Malaysia is proud to serve these as our delicacies. The rendang set however, wow, I thought you dont do spicy.
And love the "approval stamp" at the end there. Cant wait for another one Calvin!

What keyboard is that
I am currently 15, and I've masted 5 coding languages, I wish to be a software engineer when I'm older do you have any heads up or what else I should be learning
You could try competitive programming. Make sure to have fun and get some exercise you're pretty young. Also I wouldn't learn languages for the sake of learning languages.
Focus on Ai coding now. The job market is switching right now in a fast pace
You can start building projects. Whatever the field you chooses.

I wanted to ask if meta hires internationally or like from overseas as I'm a frontend engineer and I would love to work at meta someday.

I'm sure we do hire internationally but I'm not sure about the state of things right now and the market is always changing. It's probably best to just check the job postings and speak with a recruiter.

At 3:40 you mentioned taking your roommate to Meta for lunch? What is the policy on bringing visitors into the office? I looked online at I found a bunch of different answers.
The current policy is up to 20 visitors per year!
Great video! underrated content. i j graduated from a T20 applied to 500 jobs so far and not stopping until I get something. i love programming but, do you ever feel like this lifestyle lacks excitement?
I don't think of my job as "exciting" but it's just one component of my lifestyle. Good luck on your job hunt!

Hey I’m curious about the Meta shuttle routes in Seattle/Bellevue. Do the routes have any pick up locations north of Seattle? Also, is parking free on campus or paid? I’m in team matching stages now and binging some of your videos to get an idea of Meta life.
We do have some routes north of Seattle. You can probably ask your recruiter about the locations you're interested in specifically. Parking is free right now but it'll be paid soon 🥲
How do you feel when using lofree flow keyboard for a long time ? Because I probaly in the future
I like it a lot! It's probably the smoothest feeling keyboard I've typed on yet. I think it's especially good for work because it's much quieter than my other keyboards.

I don't really have a comparison for the schools themselves but Seattle is a better location imo

Whats your average per week hrs you put in? I know some weeks it may be high and some low but what is typical average at Meta?
The hours are usually reasonable but I've found that individual experiences don't really say much about the company overall, Meta or otherwise.
