Thanks for your reaction!
Pleasure guys, it was so much fun and after seeing you at the 70K Tons of Metal, it makes me a bit nostalgic haha, cheers \m/
Actually the title is the blend of 3 songs. There is also 'Don't Look to the Eyes of a Stranger" from the "Virtual XI" album.
You're sooo right, thanks for your input, cheers \m/
A lot of vibes from Virtual XI in this song 🥰
There Is also Strange World from the first album
Aussi blood brothers et Time Machine
@@paulgarot9249 Blood Brother j'acquiesce
The solo is so perfectly Maiden it physically hurts.
Gotta love Nanowar (also a bit biased because I’m from Italy as well)
Yeah hahaha, that's exactly what I thought. Like I said in the video, he emulates Smith and Murray almost perfectly. They are funny but they are also outstanding musicians especially the guitar player Mohammed Abdul. Cheers \m/
Flash of the Blaze = Flash of the blade + Blaze Bayley
Ingenious :D
Haha totally, a lot of subtle jokes in there, well targeted! Favourite Maiden albums?
Great reaction! In my humble opinion, Nanowar of Steel are currently the best parody band around. :D
I concur, their lyrics are very funny and well thought at the same time, they did their research. Along with Steel Panther, they are the funniest metal band around \m/
well, this song is better than anything Maiden did in the last 15 years imo
ATTENTION, Please!!!
The glue is also "Into the eye of a stranger" a song by Queensrÿche, a piece (taken from the masterpiece "Operation Mindcrime") obviously inspired by Iron Maiden 😬. Nanowar is always the best!! Much Love from Palermo!!!
Like @romolicci9191 said in a previous comment, I think the song is also related to Don’t Look to the Eyes of A Stranger on the album Virtual Xi 🤘🏼👀
the intro sounds like "Blood Brothers" to me from Brave new World
Indeed with a pinch of Fear of the Dark and Dance of Death I'd say, very well done, cheers🤘🏼
It was a strange song, but I loved it 😂
The song we didn't know we needed haha, cheers 🤘🏼
... in a strange land...
I like how you tried to figure out which slow starting Maiden song they were parodying in the beginning and thought of many ones I didn't even think. The first one that came to my mind was Ghost of the Navigator, but it does sound a bit like Afraid to Shoot Strangers, Fear of the Dark etc...
Also, the two solos are VERY MUCH in the style of Dave Murray and Adrian Smith, and the solo section is capped with a riff that was almost verbatim what Jannick Gers does in many of their songs.
At first, the intro felt like a mix of Fear of the Dark, Afraid and Dance of Death. Personally, I think the melody after the solos is really close to Hallowed Be Thy Name. They really succeed at channeling the essence of old Iron Maiden. Cheers man and have a great week-end
I enjoyed the reaction, it's such a fun, iron maiden mash up
Thanks for your kind words, yeah the song was great and a nice entertainment as well, first time hearing them?
@@metalanthologyValhalleluja was the first time I heard them but this is the first time I've heard such a spot on parody of a specific band from Nanowar
Yeah they did some others in the past and they are all spot on with a lot of deep jokes only fanatics can understand! Have you checked any other videos of mine? Cheers mate 🤘🏼
The best maiden song maiden never wrote. This is the song they should have written before retiring.
Haha and turn themselves into a parody at the end of their extended career, not sure but I’m glad Nanowar of Steel did it so well, cheers 🤘🏼
It's funny that no one has noticed yet that it says "Do or Diet" not "Do or Die". "Do or Diet or Be a long Distance Runner" Is the line that got me cracking up the most.
I didn't neither, thanks for pointing it, that's gold actually hahaha, so many subtle jokes in this one, funny as hell!
If you want this type of mixture blend song but made bye is original band you got to hear the song
VICTORY BY MEGADETH
I know that underrated song on Youthanasia, in fact that’s my favourite on that record. I also like very much Elysian Fields, The Killing Road and Blood of Heroes, cheers 🤘🏼
Hey! Love your videos. I love metal
It's nice of you! Keep tuning in, I will publish a lot more in the coming weeks, cheers \m/
I don't think it's possible to sing Afraid to shoot the eyes of a Stranger in a Strange World in a Strange Land multiple times without flubbing the lines live
Hahaha reminds me how difficult it was to sing Bounce (pogo, pogo, pogo, pogo) by System of A Down 😂
Another masterpiece by my favorite parody band.😃
🤘🔥🤘
Long live "NanowaR of Steel"👍
Great reaction🤩
🥰🥰🥰🇨🇦
Yeah it was a wonderful parody song right on point, there’s a lot to enjoy in it. Thanks for your comment, are you from Canada as well?
@@metalanthology Yes, Ottawa. I am a longtime Dimash fan first, old Metal gal second. When interacting with the huge number of international Dimash fans, many of us sign with our flags so we can compensate for cultural differences and avoid misunderstandings while interacting in the comment sections. Becomes a habit over time.😏
Most of my knowledge is about international bands, not so much N.A. except classic era.👍
I don’t have a clue who Dimash is, I’m seeing that he’s a singer from Kazakhstan. Anyway stay metal, there’s so many amazing bands to discover and emotions to channel listening to them, cheers!
@@metalanthology LOL. 🤣 Vocal Coaches worldwide agree that Dimash is the top vocalist on the planet , nobody is even close.😂😂
I love excellence, but Metal is a great hobby.😂😂🤣 My husband is like you as he prefers Metal at all costs but I suspect I simply have higher auditory function. My favorite Metal band is Animals as Leaders for easy listening.❤️
@@reneedevry4361 First, know for a fact I'm an eclectic music listener. I just listened to some Dimash songs because I was curious and indeed his high register is operatic impressive, very soulful voice. The songs are a bit too overdramatic for my taste but there's some cool orchestral parts. Sometimes he's just pushing to demonstrate his capabilities even if it doesn't fit the song. Thanks for the discovery, there's so many powerful voice in metal and some vocalists possess like 4-5-6 different kind of voice, that's also impressive especially when they switch between them live :)!
Great React 🥰 Up the Nanos ! 😁
Thank you, there’s another one coming in 2h, check it out 🤘🏼
The intro is kind of an inbetween of FoTD and Blood Brothers
Kind of, that’s pretty close 🤘🏼
3...not 2. 3 titles
Yes I realized it afterwards. I clicked on the video and I react on the spot, not always easy to be 100% accurate. Thanks for your comment, cheers
@@metalanthology oh, don't worry about that.
