Soifon rejects her bankai, just as she rejects her firey personality hidden underneath. In order to futher master her bankai, she needs to accept all facets of herself.
Indeed. But her excessive pride will never allow that because it would be an admission of both being flawed and different from what's expected of her. Most people in her position and the upper crust nobility would rather kill or be killed than admit to even the slightest flaw or embrace what's outside their bubble, be physically or mentally.
@@manuelacosta9463 besides Byuakua. He is pretty good at admitting when he's wrong. Took a whole 3 seasons at first, but he's one of the most reasonable Nobels apart from the Shiba Clan. Isshin is pretty down to earth.
It is even shown just how Byakuya is such a master of developing his Zanpakuto in TYBW when he lost his bankai he used the time to develop his Shikai to the point that his Shikai could get mistaken as his bankai
and as a result after regaining his real bankai it also developed to the point it shadows his old bankai by huge mile
Byakuyas mastery of the Zanpakuto is definitely one of the greatest in soul society
He's a prime example of how accepting your power within will help get you on the road to master it. As long as Soifon has that grudge she will always fall short although she's ironically more effective with her typical assassin's skills. That said Byakuya's ability are perfect for his status, a stoic nobleman who is also a Captain. As Nodt's creepy fascination with it all makes sense since Senbonzakura is quit terrifying as the blades form ready to slaughter.

@@AJ-kt5zo Same. Maybe, just maybe it will become canon alongside the others especially given hell's minions have proven very dangerous.
Byakuya's dialogue vs Renji and later on Ichigo in soul society about their bankai may have come off as a shonen antagonist being arrogant and cocky. But Byakuya really was being honest and loved seeing the foreshadowing come full circle in the final arc.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Byakuya is the perfect balance of Soul Reaper abilities. He's a master of Kidō, a master of Flash step, and a master of his Zanpoto. Sure he has a kill joy personality, but you can't deny his talent.
I'd really love to see you venture into scaling. Bleach scaling is so scarce
I wish we could have seen more from Byakuya in TYBW after his "fake death". Clearly Kubo planned on killing him so he didn't have as much of a plan for the character in TYBW, so he was kinda just there as a support for the most part...

Now that I think about doesn't Byakuya's cherry blossom blades remind me of Vergil's Mirage Blades from DMC
Now I know where V gets that attack from.As expected I mean after all DMC takes inspiration from Bleach even their lines on switching places.But TBH Vergils mirage blades actually protect him from taking too much damage
Speaking of DMC hope the fiends and denizens of the Hellverse ( aside from fallen or banished shinigami and hopefully Quincy and Espada ) are actually demons and devil's to.
You forgot all the aspects after the Royal Palace training... Things like his shikai was mistaken to be his old bankai by As Nodt and his new technique Senbonsakura Kageyoshi Ouji Ikka Senjinka..
Imagine if Soi Fon master her Bankai and it gives her to ability to change into different weapons that would better suit and assassin like a sniper rifle with a bullets that lock onto and follow the target or whips or chain's. That would be cool.
