This quote is priceless !!
You know what's cool about that quote. It describes Aizen and his ability. Kyokasuigestu means mirror flower water moon. It's a reference to that same story byakuya tells. Of the monkey that reaches for the flower in the mirror and the moon's reflection in the water.
Byakuya explains it as the moon is unreachable to the monkey. But the real moral is that the monkey is chasing an illusion therefor he can never reach it because it's the opposite way from where he's going. The moon is in the sky not the water.

what about cherry blossoms is "traditional" in the context of fighting? ...typical random "ignorant foreigner" comment lmao. There sure are Zanpakuto that have some traditional ties to them. Like Katen Kyokotsu referencing Kashin and Enma. But certainly not Senbonzakura lol

I think she/he means that cherry blossoms are supposed to be known for their pacifying aura and peaceful environment, but byakuya makes it a massacre (senkei) which I love especially against his fight with kouga

You know you're a badass character when you have your own theme song. Every single fight that Byakuya is in, he wins either because of the skill that he has or the overwhelming power that he has. His speech and his bankai are elegant and he never breaks character in battle. True badassery in action, this guy is.

Perfect theme for Byakuya, it makes me feel like im attending my own funeral inundated with cherry blossom petals. It complements Byakuya's formal attitude and graceful fighting style.

I think the first time they played this song was when Masaki got killed by a hollow and they showed her thoughts. But I suppose Byakuya's bankai does make this theme more memorable.
I was re-watching "Bleach" recently, and I realized that the first time this music plays in the series was when Rukia was practicing "contemporary language." personally, I think it fitting, for Rukia to herald Byakuya's theme song.

My favorite character and definitely one of the most attractives in my opinion. He's just those cool, cold and distant characters, which I find really attractive. Plus he's a bit humorous or rather sadistic.
I told my sister (who doesn't watch Bleach) some things about Byakuya: namely, he likes bananas and spicy things, but not sweets; once he came up with an idea for a game that was not fun; and he once made a joke about using his most powerful ability to cut his /hair/. She said any character who would do that is probably insane.
