Kubo has so much material for the world he created. He could have made an entire flashback arc of Masaki and Isshin’s backstory and I would have ate that shit up.
What I find great about Ichigo's power is that he doesn't necessarily get stronger. Rather his full strength is being held back and released piece by piece throughout the series. Ichigo's situation is like Zaraki's situation. They both have in truth tremendous powers but it is unknowningyl, subconsciously suppressed because it would kill them.
The thing Zaraki is that he suppresses his power in order to match the power level of his opponent or rather to make the battle last as long as possible, it's not because he knows it would kill him, I don't even think he knew his full power is capable of killing him🤷♂️
@@darkknight6219 Yeah their power growth journeys have parallels but the intentions behind the reasons why Ichigo and Zaraki haven't reached their potential had walls/obstacles. They both still have more potential even at the end of the series but I won't specify the details in case your anime only. However, their obstacles in the end are very good nods to their character traits and development

This is one of the reasons why I personally liked kiriyah in the Blount arc. He really made ichigo think about what being different and powerful means and what not to do so you don't find yourself feeling alone like the bounts

I just noticed this at 5:19 with Sajin. He shouldn't have his helmet off. If I recall, he was hiding his true appearance for a long time and Zaraki didn't see what he looked like under the helmet until later in the soul society art. They forgot all about that. Lol. It was important but it's just something to point out.
I guess he has nothing to hide anymore so he stopped wearing it
Oh true or maybe this was how he started off and then later felt weird about it and then put the bucket on a bjt afterwards
I feel like Ossan probably had better control over Ichigo's spiritual powers as Quincies are know for manipulating reishii and having very nuanced abilities. White Ichigo to me is like the well of strength and Ossan was a thinker/puppeteer. For a metaphor White is like the flowing water of a Dam one that Ossan let flood through when necessary and that at time broke through possibly in ways he may have not wanted(like a push and pull). I always wondered how White saw the dynamic. White seems malevolent on the surface but like he has good intentions at the same time. White's power pushed Ichigo to the limit and maybe Ossan is the one that reined it in and mad it safe like how his hollow masks would appear conveniently in weak point during fights in pivotal moments.
The part about the Quincies might actually explain thier relationship. As for how White saw it? Well, it's some head canon, but hear me out. White was made from multiple shinigami. His formation parallels the asauchi, but it also parallels the Menos (an accumulation of spirits). In order for a menos to be able to reach a higher level, a strong mind has to take form in the collective of souls. In the case of white, the strongest would be Kaien...being from a noble family and all. White is no longer "Kaien", but the fact that he comes into contact with another Shiba...specifically Kaien's uncle and his cousin, I would suspect White would understand the similarity he has with them. To go further, it's been demonstrated that all Shiba ( even the ancestor) have a tendency toward helping people in need...they...don't seem to be able to help it. So with a majority of the power in White essentially being "Shiba" I'm fairly certain his only intention (no matter how brutal) is to "help". You can even see it when he went berserk against Ulquiorra. He may have injured Uryuu, but he had no intention of killing him...he just wanted him out of the way. If I recall correctly, in the manga he specifically injured Uryuu's arm..ie..prevent the use of arrows/ "quincy interference"

@@keronrussell9271 You made a very similar connection to what I made. White is inherently a mysterious guy even at the end of the series. A lot of the deeper aspects of him have to be inferred inherently making more nuanced examinations of him a bit head canony. Of course, Kubo probably is a little intentional with the vagueness or ran out of time to focus on the deeper aspects of White apart from him being the true source/manifestation of his Shinigami/Hollow abilities.

@@keronrussell9271 I suspect the hollowfication process led to a bluntness and harder hand with the way White helps Ichigo. Kaien would have been more thoughtful and careful with his approach when helping. I suspect that if Kaien is in fact the primary consciousness or the one with the most influence on White's collective psyche that the hollowfication of his soul among the others that make up white led to White's eventual blunt personality. I also think merging with the Shinigami aspects of Ichigo tempered the malevolent side of him leading to the White Ichigo persona that's left currently. I really hope that if Kubo continues with the Hell Arc that he eventually delves into Zanpakto spirits more and the bonds between shinigami and zanpakto. It could become a gateway to the "beyond Bankai" abilities brave souls has made and could be unique techniques developed by deepening a bond b/w Zanpakto and Shinigami past what is necessary for Bankai/Mastered or fully developed Bankai. For Ichigo specifically, a 2nd resurrection like form that Ulqiorra achieved could be a potential path to go power wise
This may also give insight into why Ichigo was being slaughtered hardcore in Hueco Mundo. If Ossan is his Quincy powers and Quincies are weakened by hollows, that showed that Ossans restraints on Shiro were weakened. Thus allowing his hollow to take over more frequently. And when Ichigo got rekt by Ulquiorra, his hollow taking over was more indicative of his real strength.
Remember when Tensa Zangetsu and hollow Zangetsu merged? The foreshadowing was right in front of our eyes of Ichigos true power

They looked like Ichigo's HOS form. Then Tensa Zangetsu looked like young Yhwach.
So if Urahara hadn't decided to make a Gigai with a ding dong, Bleach would have never happened.

I have a question that might be interseting. As we know back in 100 years ago, when Urahara was a captain, Kubo avoided showing the 10th division captain. I thought be cause it would spoile the fact of Ishin being the captain back then. But now we saw that Ishin doesn't recognise Urahara in the last episode, so it would make sense that Ishin wasn't the captain 100 years ago. Then the main question would be who was the 10th division captain 100 years ago, that Kubo is avoiding to show even in the illustration that he drew for the gotie 13 100 years ago, the 10th division is absent.
We know kubo, and the way he does things. He is hiding this for a vrey important reason. It would make sense that it would be Ichigo's/Ishin's granda/father, since the theory would say since the shiba clan is noble , they would have thier own division. but I am intersted in hearing your thougths about this.
Ichigo has the powers of Shinigami, Quincy, Hollow, and Fullbring. So basically he has the power of every race introduced in Bleach just like the Spirit King. You could see in episode 1 that some souls have been following him since they have mistaken him for the spirit king that is managing the entire balance of power in Bleach universe trapped in that stone. To further prove that there is dialogue between Aizen and Gin that he will consume him after he will create oken in fake karakura town arc before entering the real karakura town. Aizen would probably creat oken, then consume Ichigo to gain the power of every race to make himself really powerful, and finally enter the soul king palace to destroy everything so he can rule as he see fit.
Fullbring powers were stolen when his powers were stolen in that arc.
@@th3h3ro23 nah he had some full bring power that got restored when soul reapers gave him back his energy but it really wasn't much or useful anymore. That's from Kubo about ichigos bankai with all those cross pattern. At least that's the explanation given. To be honest that's all retconed.

Does anybody think about Ichigo's sisters? Why don't they have any special abilities or powers? Are they adopted?
They probably do, but to a lesser extent. As for the hollow powers, only Ichigo has them (as implied by Isshin in the episode). White had passed on to Ichigo... everyone else should be Human/Shinigami/Quincy hybrids
Ichigo had a much better power supressor than Zaraki XD

A theory I have ichigo is not just any Quincy True Blood. But maybe reincarnation of Yahwach. Yahwach mentions that there are certain generations that are to have stronger ones. And yahwach and a few other Quincy actually struggled with Quincy powers at first and distribute it. So how did ichigos friends get abilities? Was it the Hogyoko or Ichigos Quincies abilities. Wasn't it mention all quincies can control their reishi and those around them except for special ones. And yet ichigo sucks at reishi manipulation of enviorment .... so who is ichigos sons Quincy powers come from Yahwach still or Ichigo? I wonder if something weird might happen and it is ichigo or something

Not as powerful as Ichigo but still pretty strong.

I believe Ichigo’s sisters have shingami and quincy powers and they even have hollow powers like Ichigo because in the anime Urahara said that this hollow will continue for generations and generations and Isshin’s power will not return.
His father regained his powers after ichigo hollow form broke free for the first time. His fathers powers where being used to suppress the hollow within ichigos mother and then ichigo, once the hollow was free/surpassed his fathers power to suppress it his powers/spiritual energy returned. I don’t think his sisters are part hollow/full bring it seems the hollow part is transferred to one individual at a time.

I think it's still a part of him. I don't think it was purely his quincy power per say since his true zanpkto represents both. He only spoke to Old Man Zagetsu in his inner world, often along with "hollow" Zangetsu. And when he first materialized his zanpakto spirit, it was the old man.

Originaly was Ichigo the medium of the family, who attracted spirits. Karin was even able to see ghost clearly, when i remember it correctly. Yuzu was mostly attacked from Hollows in the manga. And Karin in the anime.
Karins power only rised, when Ichigo lost his power. So, that she attracted now spirits.
Mean, that the power is mostly only in one of them at the same time (esspecial, that Ichigo had the hollow inside him).
Great question both of Inchigo's sisters don't hv a full power as him....but they are able to sense hollow and they are able to see Shinigamis.........
I think Karin would be more able to tap in to that power, Yuzu still has a long, long way to go considering the fact that she see hollows and other spirits clearly although she can sense their presence 🤷♂️

We Dont know if the quincy powers in their soul are also ristricting their powers or nor but i think that if they ever get their soul ripped out of them like ichigo that could be the catalyst for them awakening their powers. Although i dont think they would have a hollow inside of them butt stil think they got the mix of both parent being quincy and shinigami but frankly we just dont know much about born shinigami and how their powers active when they are human

Mugetsu is Isshin special technique that use all of his shinigami power in exchange, Kubo release another Mugetsu Shinigami+Fullbring ver on Bleach Brave Souls afterall
@@theballance9748 thats the known explanation, but since Ichigo's Quincy power was in control of his shinigami power.... Ichigo's Mugetsu cant be same as that of Isshin.... In my opinion Ichigo's Mugetsu was like what Uryu used against Mayuri..

Why I say Zaraki was born with Oken from Tenjiro Lightning Fast and his mother, Yachiru Unohana. She abandoned him so he would never be taken by Zero Squad and a soul King Substitute and The Gods in Japan let their children roam free and return as adults and warriors
A soul king substitute has to have more than just shinigami powers. They have to be hybrids.
