Bahn Xeo. We have a lot of Vietnamese restaurants in St. Paul, MN USA. Some are Vietnamese/Chinese American fusion; however, there are some authentic ones too. You’re braver then me. I hate heights and I’d be crapping my pants going up in that 🚠 cable car. 😅

The best place for this dish is " Banh Xeo Ba Duong ", there are many shops with the same name in a small alley, go to the one at the end of the alley.

When ever you eat Banh Xeo = pancake in Viet Nam, do not wrap it with rice paper, wrap it with lettuce only, it tastes much better that way.
Wrapping it in rice paper makes it easier to eat because lettuce tears easily. I always had problems eating it wrapped in lettuce growing up because the fillings would fall out (maybe I over stuff mine), but once I learned to use rice paper to wrap it, I do that now....same my fried spring rolls when eaten the Vietnamese way at home. :)

It's Bánh xèo which is made of rice flour, shrimps, pork belly, bean sprouts... so it's totally different with pancake... just call it Bánh xèo
I don't like it when Vietnamese keep calling flat things like that pancake. I tell them to call it a Vietnamese sizzling crepe.

Another fun one. I think sun world specializes in creating huge fake park like spaces. Sort of like an asian disney or universal studios. The have several projects in the region. For me I just don't vibe with those sorts of places. Glad you did it so I don't have to LOL. I do hope you get on a motorbike and go see the lady Buddha and then on to Hai Van pass. Pretty amazing. What would be really fantastic is if you where to take a week to 10 days a do the ride all the way to Hanoi. Some great places to see along the way. So happy for you getting more and more subs, and views.

The Hai Van Pass is good, but she'll have the best experience doing the Ha Giang Loop...many people say that's the best experience of their life.

I'm sorry you went on a bad day for Sunworld, we went with a nice weather and it was worth it, we got the Hand bridge to ourselves at around 5-6pm it was fun! did you go on any rides? lol
The rides were closed! Hahaha the rain was SO bad it was pouring down, definitely weren’t able to operate in those weather conditions! 😂

I'm Vietnamese and have to say that in my country Jolibee is the best, far better than KFC, Lotteria, Popeye and Texas Chicken because of its chilli dipping sauce and perfect combos that give us a lot with reasonable price

I wouldn't call banh xeo a pancake so much as a Vietnamese sizzling crepe. You should pronounce xeo like sell, but go easy on the l sounds at the end. If you tasted something fishy, it's possible there's a heart-shaped herb in there that's called fish mint. LOL! A lot of Vietnamese folks don't like eating it. The meat on the stick should be eaten like the banh xeo where you layer on the veggies, herbs, and dip before eating.

Why do you and others always greet people saying Xin Chao? If you greet a man then say Chao Anh, a woman then Chao Chi. Younger people or kids then Chao Em. Older man then Chao Chu, older woman then Chao Co. Old old man then Chao Ong, old old woman then Chao Ba.
Because I don’t speak fluent Vietnamese? If I didn’t learn anything everyone would be mad, I learn some and it’s not good enough, can’t you just appreciate the effort? 🤔
