I haven't been to Hawaii for 43 years, I was there in December 1980 tour and the bus took us almost everywhere including pearl harbor. And now I live in CA and don't even need a passport to travel to Hawaii love it.

Ari says it feel safer there at night in Honolulu compared to other USA cities. I'm just wondering does it have anything to do with also because it is more multicultural and higher proportions of Asians living there. Hence like most asian cities, it feel safer, crime rates are lower.

我去年也是五月份去了夏威夷的檀香山岛（Honolulu)。刚到的感觉跟你一样，有那么些回到中国南方的感觉。觉得当地人的生活节奏没那么紧张，是个度假和享受退休生活的好地方。

不知道你们会怎么处理坐月子的文化差异，我的建议是入乡随俗。一方水土养育一方人，我老家福建很忌讳坐月子吃辣吹风，但我一个江西的表嫂一定要在坐月子吃辣，我的理解是那些因子已经融入了他们的DNA，而很多成规旧条源自商周上古的巫术仪式和迷信。祝你们将来的宝宝健康帅气！
