Thanks, Josh and team! Awesome shirts. Probably going to pick up the red one soon so I have all 4!

You're going to get a bunch of comments about how it's crazy to spend so much on a t shirt because it's just a tee. While I have not had the opportunity to try one of these tees from A New Medium yet, I've come to find that my favorite heavyweight tees are from 3Sixteen and The Flathead. While they might cost 10x that of a regular tee, they last at least 2-3x as long and they maintain looking new the whole time which can't be said for cheap tees. A few washes and they start to lose shape and the collars sag. I think that makes the higher cost worth it even if it might not work out to be cheaper on a per wear basis. I lounge around in all my tees and I wash them after every wear. I have the most experience with my 3Sixteen tees and I have some that are over 3 years old so must have over 100 washes by now. They still look and feel great. If you like a nice beefy collar, you should try a TFH tee. I think you'll be super pleased.

Thanks for that, Basboy! Yeah - I think you're right... stuff like this isn't always well received, but I'm OK with that! Maybe I shouldn't baby mine that much then... impressive how yours have held up with that level of wear and wash. I'll check out Flat Head. Thanks for the suggestion!

New to me threads (shrinkage?), thanks Patrick. You've been throwing sevens here.

Thanks, brother. No shrinkage for me after the washes... but I let them air dry too.

I have a couple I+W tees but have yet to go all out on any yet. I don't mind spending the extra money if they fit me perfect. I am still looking for that heavyweight tshirt that is slightly form fitting in all the right ways. These look good though and the only way to find that "best tshirt" is to buy a bunch, lol.

You hit the nail on the head! That's what I was doing when I made all those videos over the summer last year. For fit, I also really like Taylor Stitch Heavy Bag tee and the Flint and Tinder American HW Tee.

I think 85 for a black tee or a dark color is an avenue I’d go down. Especially if it was a long sleeve. I’ve had black Gilden tees hold up with years of heavy wear- certainly worn and scratchy but a loopwheel tee could replace it.

Yeah I feel you on that. Black tee can last forever in your wardrobe! I bought some gildans for comparison last year and they just aren't made for my body type. Terrible cut for me, but I didn't expect much for 10 bucks!

Shirts only go up to a 46" chest. guess they dont care about the big boys .

Good point. I'll bring it up with them. Given this is their first clothing drop, my guess is they went with core sizes to gauge interest. In the 2nd drop, I wouldn't be surprised if they expanded sizes. Thanks for the comment!

How is the shrink? Do you wash and dry like normal?

    • @rockymtnstyle

I haven't dried... Just wash cold and lay flat. Zero shrink.

I’ll have to snag one of these to try. I’ve been comparing tees in preparation for spring and the UES Ramayana is my current favorite. I’m definitely in the camp that believes investing in a high quality t is worth the price. I wear them more than anything else.

You won't be sorry I'm sure. I'll check out the UES too.
