Great video guys. How you finding the x pipe on the speed twin now you have done a few miles. Do you find it too loud? I’m thinking of getting my speed twin done with my after market exhaust. Keep up with the great videos guys. 👍
Thanks Rob, the xpipe is awesome, just the right level of loudness and the additional pops and gargles you get are a joy to the ears, if you can do it you won't regret it! It's just the install that's a pain in the ass 🙃 hopefully more content shortly! 🙏
Great video. I enjoy seeing a different type of scenery than I see in the Southwest US. I have a question for James. You mentioned the TomTom you use. I have found that using Google Maps on my iPhone is not working out that well. The batteries are just about done at the end of 4 or 5 hours and also Google Maps routes that you create on a desktop do not transfer to a mobile device correctly if you have dragged the route when planning the trip to avoid a place. So.... How do you create your routes on the TomTom, or do you just set a destination and do what TomTom says? How long do the batteries last, or do you have a feed on your bike? P.S. -- You contributed to my decision to get a Speed Twin 1200 as my first bike this January. I have a bit more than 3,000 miles on it now and it is great. It needs a wind screen since we do so much high-speed driving out here, it also needs cruise control and some other features that I can't add to it. But overall a great bike. Mine is a 2023 - bright red like yours.
If you use your phone I would suggest getting a wireless charging quad lock, that might fix all your issues. The tomtom is great as It has a wireless charging mount that keeps it plugged into the bone battery all the time, failing that it has about a 6 hour battery life. I tend to just punch in a destination, turn off motorways and toll roses and then select from 1 of 3 options it gives me. You can manually create routes on the app or download tomtom rider routes and yours from the app as well which is a great addition. I like having the dedicated tomtom as it doesn't require cellular data so always pulls a GPS signal and works a treat for finding unique roads unlike Google maps. Glad to hear I influenced your decision, very glad to hear you went for the speed twin in red, stay safe and enjoy riding! 😎🏍️
@@NoPlaceToBe. Thanks very much. That is good information about the TomTom. I will look into it as well as having a line for charging run up to the handlebars.
Loool, didn't have to pay for it, just can't monetize our video, but it's ok, for some reason our adsence account doesn't work and we've never made a penny 😆🙃
WE’RE BACK! Passion for biking has been reignited. Who else has had to shake things in order to spark a new lease of life for biking??
Good to see you back out and making videos. Always enjoyed your content - lovely shiny tank on the Speed Twin!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed the trip to Cotswolds with James and Alex ,loved the wild horses and the great banter as always .Thank you guys 🏍️🐎😘

Love this vid. Motorbiking culture and comeradery. This is what's missing from my life. I'm booking my CBT right now.
Absolutely love seeing these comments, go for it, and get a mate to do It as well, best decision you'll ever make 🙌🏍️ Good Luck Nick! 💪

That was great. How much money to use the Stones song?😂. You should have named this video Hung Pony.

Sorry to hear that. A labor of love then. Thanks for the fun.
