- I followed Jamie & Simon for a day, they're a father son duo who's love of classic British motorcycles and history permeates everything they do. I wanted to learn what it's really like to own a classic Triumph Tiger, they have a 1960s Tiger 100 and a 1954 Tiger plus many others tucked under the sheets in their lockup.
we have a 59 3TA and 2 classic british cars 1968 and 70 nothing ever breaks down if it maintained and you know what you are doing my husband has had british bikes since 1966 and he has never not been able to do a roadside repair and keep us on the move
Exactly I have owned and ridden triumphs since 1971 and only ever been stopped by a puncture
Nice video but don't get stuck on the idea that old British bikes are always breaking down because it just isn't true.
@@williamnethercott4364 yeah that's exactly what the guys who I was with said after they watched the video! I'm perhaps slightly tainted by my own experiences with a classic honda, it's forever going wrong. I didn't intend the video to come across like that, I more wanted to show the dedication these two bring to what they do and how fortunate these bikes are to have them.
I have a BSA A7 from 1954. After dealing with the magneto problems, the bike runs without any problems. I travel at least 2,000 miles per season. All you need is maintenance and replacement of wearing parts.
Greetings from Poland.
Great video. As a side note I apologize for anything our new President does or says against your country.
@@tedatkinson4547 hahaha thank you! I genuinely can't believe he's back... Our prayers are with you all.
I wish we had a leader like Trump
