It’s definitely a bad habit that’s the main thing that I read repeatedly not to do when I was learning that and resting your hand on the shifter. With time it wears parts.
Did hear the two French guys asking what they bought their wives for Christmas?! I bought her a Chevelle, so she back and forth from work?! No kidding I bought my wife a Chevelle too, 😮 so she can shovel the sidewalk 😂😅
@@outlawamps96 It happens...high performance engines need strong transmissions. Square cut gears are required to survive the situation...synchronizers are kinda negated do to the material they are made of...the lack of angle on the teeth...and the simple fact that fewer parts are more reliable. Therefore, DRIVER INPUT becomes more of a THING. Double clutching and experience in rev matching are all up in dat. So, all I can say is...we are all only human...and stuff happens.
usually an optional tilt steering wheel is a friend to the ample gentleman, but this fella is so husky, the wheel would be scraping some part of his posterior no matter where it was positioned
Nice! Thanks for the ride.
That missed gear was excellent!
If you can't find 'em, grind 'em...
Another clutch rider, I never seen so many people that ride the clutch in this day and age.

@@500kchevrolet9 I cut my teeth (see what I did there?) on a M22 rockcrusher, so I know it happens. Just a friendly jab.

Scraping his butt?!?
You couldn't pay me to ride with this guy. He's in such bad shape he could stroke out at any second
Right after grabbing third gear and taking it to 5500 would be my guess. Think of the size of the grease spot on the bridge abuttment.
While you two are keyboard cruising this dudes ripping around in a bigblock.....
What a big Block? jk 496 cu. In.
