He had that type of voice that it doesn't matter how many times you've heard a song of his it's like your hearing it for the first time
100percent yes
Mazing elvis presley no comment it incredible
I love that song well I love Elvis
Every time it feels like the first time. Great reaction. Thank you. The seventy version is a more confidant Elvis but a shorter version of his old hits. Love me tender was from the 1970 That’s the way it is concert also. He jumped off the stage and he comes back after walking and kissing girls with his chain in his hand. When he sits down a fan wanted him back and he said” not for all the money in the world “. He also said the audience in the balcony “man I’m sorry I couldn’t get up there”.
He's just perfection.
BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL LOVE ELVIS ❤❤❤
Hi Nick! I have enjoyed reading all your comments to date and realized that collectively, these combined thoughts embody the amazing spirit of Elvis Presley. Who, other than Jesus Christ, himself have we held so close to our hearts? We know him so intimately that in a single performance we understand the very moments that the music has captured him to use him for its own purpose and the charming smile that comes afterwards as if to say, “I meant to do that.” He makes you smile. He makes you hurt, but most important, he makes you feel alive! Loved, loved, loved your reaction!❤️
Wow!!!! Beautiful Beautiful Adorable Gorgeous Elvis Presley - It is just so amazing - no matter how many times you have seen his performances he just shocks and blows you away each time!!!! Elvis is just so captivating and mesmerizing with his stunning angelic beauty, his Heavenly powerful voice and his sensual charming charisma - Elvis Presley just never fails to thrill your senses and capture your heart!!! oh! I just love love the 68 Comeback Special but Oh I just love love everything Elvis!! I love both versions!!! Only Elvis!!!! Thank you so much Nick!
Putting the 50s and early 60s to the side. As a starting point from 68 and through out the next five years there was nobody who could come close to him as a live performer.Elvis at his very mature best. We know historically there was nobody like him in the 50s what an eternal legacy he has left us all. was clearly sent hear for a reason. Thank you Elvis and thanks to the lord for sending your son.🙁
Nick and never like his concerts absolutely without a shuttle of a doubt love them All of them even his last concert I may have been crying but I loved every bit of it because it was him and it was the last time I would ever see him I love that man and I still do
Wow Elvis is do charismatic and gorgeous in the black leather
No words for how good these were!!!!

Absolutely fantastic! Love all his shows. What a fantastic singer! The King at his Best!
Oh yeah I remember that God do I remember that that was oh amazing I may have been a kid back in 1970 but that was the best I ever had I love listening to him I still do he makes my day even though I'm 65 he still gets the heart beating fast
Hi Nick, thanks for this song, i wish i had a night with him, love the 68 comeback and the 1970 concert. Simply love Elvis👍❤💯
MY FAVORITE ELVIS SONG. SAW HIM I CONCERT ABOUT 74 77? !! WOW !!
Love em both ❤ great reaction
I can't choose a favourite between these two performances. It's impossible.
The 1st is raw, raspy, sexy, rock and roll and the second is a complete master class in entertainment 👌
I love how the music flows through him and he moves as he feels it..
Never be another like him.
Great reaction today, Nick!
Thank you!
How can you not love him.. the King.. My Daddy took my Mom to see Elvis in 1974 in Philly... My Daddy wasn't a fan... he came home from that concert a total fan.. Daddy said he'd never seen a performer give EVERYTHING into a performance like Elvis did.
Thank you Nick for a great reaction, the charisma oozes from this amazing man, you could tell he had missed performing on stage, absolutely brilliant liked both version, he was so sexy handsome man 😊😊❤
Even if I would have to watch him without sound I would be happy.
Thank you so much Nick!
Have a happy healthy week!💚☀️
All I can say about the 68 Special is WOW, WOW, WOW!
I loved it. It’s Elvis looking so gorgeously handsome and singing divinely. Each time he performs it sounds so fresh and it’s like I’m hearing him for the first time❤❤
Perfectly perfect in every way possible ❤️ 👌 TCB AS ALWAYS
Gorgeous song, performance and reaction to both versions 🎵💙🎶
You can never go wrong with the 68 TV special or the movie documentary TTWII. Love how Elvis can make the same song seem different every time - consummate musician and performer ❤
Those are two of my very favorite performances. He was so dang adorable. I love both. I really like how bluesy he sang the 1970 one. ❤❤❤
Love it ❤
Love ELVIS SUNDAYS ❤
There is the actual audio 1958 One Night release you should also listen too. And as someone has said there is also his version of One Night of Sin...same music, different words.
I love your Elvis Sundays. Thank you, Nick. 😊
Wow. Both were amazing. I can’t choose. Second one was definitely more playful and off the cuff. Thanks Nick!
That man was just one sexy beast!
Sigh......he had it all !!! Every time I watch these it's like the first time and I just smile through the whole performance. Love both performances...the stage was home to him!!!!!❤❤❤❤
It doesn’t get better than that… yes, it blows me away every time. My face is contorted in wonder and delight watching the 68 special.
Love your elvis Sundays show, keep doing wot your doing because its fantastic and for those who's just getting into elvis they got soooo much to see n learn about the human god Mr elvis presley, the King TCB always ❤
Doesn't matter how many times I see 68 Special it always seems fresh. Also love watching the live concert clips as well especially TTWIS. Great video choice
Isn't he great?!!! Both versions are great!! He could sing the newspaper and it would be great!!! Thank you for all you do!! Always look forward to Sunday!!!
Always love seeing Elvis live. Both performances were great but I like the 1968 version best. It’s longer and the way he responded to the plug coming undone was so spontaneous. Just kept on going. That’s a professional. 💕💕💕Thank you for showing both performances.
Wonderful, both versions, but you should also listen to the very first version 1957 one night of sin....very young and impertinent. What you say is true every time you listen to him you are always fascinated and amazed like the first time and it manages to make you smile or cry. I love him.
😍😍😍
👑🎶🎸❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Elvis originally recorded the song under the title ‘One Night of Sin’ in 1957 but the lyrics were changed because of concern of the lyrics at that time. I understand the original version wasn’t released until 1983 and the lyrics leave more to your imagination than anything else.
I love them both. 68' is very raw 70' is moore playful.❤❤❤
It is surprising that the crowd didn't go wild when he does that suggestive backwards strut to ' I Nevaaah... I Nevaaah... '. It was Vegas crowd, I know, but still.
👑✌️
You take care Nick and God bless you and your family
👑⚡️
He's quite good isn't he 🙂
He’s allllrigght, yeah… 😂
OMG, one of my all-time favorites. I could listen to him sing that song forever. Even the earlier, original version, I love. But the '68 Comeback Special was great. I still vividly remember watching that show. I had never seen Elvis "live" before and trust me, it had an impact. Now the other version you showed from 1970 I think you said, that puzzles me because there's so little I haven't seen. I do remember the woman who wanted a "real" kiss and not just a little something something, but I don't remember Elvis singing One Night. But I really loved that version. So raw and obviously unrehearsed since Elvis had to cue the band how to start the song. I LOVED it. So thank you very much for that. BTW, I see Superman behind you. There's a special planned here in the US for February 2 on CNN and I think maybe a streaming channel on Christopher Reeve. It looks like it'll be great.
I love the 68 special but your right that the "showman" version has a different vibe. And, yes!! Of course both are amazing. ❤❤❤
It's always fun to watch your reaction to Elvis videos, Nick. Thanks so much for another great one. The 1968 version was Rock & Roll at its best and Elvis used a much raspier sounding voice. In the 1970 version, Elvis seems more relaxed & he's having a good time with the audience. I watched some Estelle Brown interviews yesterday (one of the Sweet Inspirations who was one of them from 1969 until Elvis's death.) She said that sometimes Elvis would purposely mess around with the lyrics just for the fun of it to see if they would sing the correct words or go along with his. She also said that Elvis was a lovely, generous, sweet man & that she loved him (in a brother-sister kind of way.) Estelle was 9 years younger than Elvis so she automatically gave him the respect of calling him 'boss' the first time she met him. She said that Elvis immediately responded: "I'm not your boss I'm your brother." There are several interviews of Estelle on YT; the most recent one was on his birthday this year. Myrna Smith & Cissy Houston all have interviews about Elvis on YT.
Love that! 🫶
As you said the '68 version was raw, and guttural. The '70 version was more of a walk through of his greatest hits.
What's interesting is the audience interaction in '70. Elvis went from a baby girl giving him a peck, to a 14 yr old (I guess) losing control and hugging him to an older women trying to swallow him, LOL. Elvis was irresistible regardless of age.
Great review.

Hi Nick. There’s really 2 That’s the way it is. Discs in a Box set. You probably got them both? Like one night and Suspicious Minds are different. So on. The ending of Suspicious Minds is something else. A one would say unnatural. You’d have to see it.
While I thoroughly enjoy '68, I prefer the '70 version, just wish it was a bit longer. That little backward footwork was real cute. Thanks.
I'm going to throw out something which I'm sure you won't do on "Elvis Sunday" but may want to watch on your own time. I found Sonny & Cher's version of "What Now My Love," & of course there's Sinatra, so I listened to those followed with Elvis. Very interesting to hear the difference in phrasing & lack of power compared to Elvis. Just one more piece of proof why Elvis was Elvis. Cher's voice sounds very good on this song, & I even prefer their version over Sinatra. I'll give you the links if you think you are interested. Thanks so much.
There is another version from the original TTWII which is different again - all brilliant. ruclips.net/video/CGYQiaf3HBk/видео.html&start_radio=1
