- There have been many prophetic failures over the years from the leadership of Jehovah's Witnesses, such as 1914, 1925, and 1975, not to mention the ongoing re-interpretations of the length of "this generation" expected to mark the nearness of Armageddon.
Are we to dismiss these prophetic fiascoes as merely the best efforts of sincere, but imperfect men? Or is there something more sinister at work here?

Thank you for this very accurate video.
It expresses all the thoughts and feelings that I have had for many years. Being a second-generation witness, now 60 years old and more than 55 years an (independent thinking) JW. In my youth I was a pioneer for six years (1975-1980!). And also a ministerial servant for many years, until 2014. I have often been asked to become an elder, but I have consistently withheld that. My conscience prevented me from taking that step. Obviously because of the consequences: having to teach things that I did not believe in myself. And to be a participant in judicial committees, where I would be (jointly) responsible for actions that would have major consequences and impact on the lives of others, my fellow brothers and sisters.
At the moment you could call me a PIMO, clearly due to the known reasons. I still attend meetings, although I have been inactive as a publisher since 2017.
The elders will come to visit me in September. I am sufficiently prepared .......
To everyone who has to deal with a similar situation: wish you a lot of strength and courage!

Hello brother. I understand the discernment u have to use when leaving. I will pray for u. Our Father gives us many tests to see where our faith is. If it is pure. If u trust Him with ALL your heart. Stand up for truth, so you and your family is no longer swept away in rebellion as in the wilderness but instead is blessed for trusting like Yehoshua son of Nun. YHWH blesses those who trust in His Name. May He give u courage to do so in יהושע name. Amen
Dear brother!! Im a PIMO too!! Next month will be the 6th month being inactive and to keep the elders away (not to ask me) I will be putting some hours in. 😩. I’ve been so confused, angry, sad, crying, depressed since I learned the truth about the truth. Been in since 1978 (some years always Max 2 years in the late 1990s) but always came back and been straight in since 2000! I pioneered on campaign times (30 hrs). I’m tired 😓 really tired! I go to the meetings with family and it’s like a torture! But have to hang in here!!
So I don’t know if you still believe in God our creator and his son Christ- but I will be praying for you and all those that are brave enough to say - until here like you!

I'am still going to the meetings. No call for a meeting or a vist. I'am okay with that.
Is somehow ironic but a release now when I finish to write my disassociation letter to remember my song from my baptism,( To whom do we Belong). Now I am definitely know that i belong to Jesus, the Son of Jehovah. Thank you brother Eric for you videos, it was very helpful for me to not join anymore to other religions. Belonging to Christ doesn’t require to follow human teachings or teachers, and yes I deeply believe in association of believers!

BAth...it is not healthy to drop away from meeting with other believers. This is how we grow in our walk with Christ. In fact Jesus had His 12 Disciples and many who followed Him to learn. Paul and Peter both wrote about the need to be in fellowship with other believers. Some of the best teaching I received were in small groups of believers who met as "homegroups". No pastor, just an honest and deep study of God's word with other believers.
For the last 3 years I have attended BSF (Bible Study Fellowship). It is a worldwide group of women who meet together to study the Scriptures. This years we will be studying Paul's writings in Acts, Thessalonians, and several other books. We have group discussions regarding what we have learned. No one tells us what we should believe or how. I would suggest you check them out online and attend a meeting to see if this would be something for you. May God bless your walk with Him.

Jaci Bledsoe I would love to, but I was moved in another country, and this is not my native congregation, so I must give the letter to some elders hwo not now me only from transfer files from my native congregation (😁😁 that’s why I was read the Bible whitout GB literature for a long period), anyway I am in a European Nordic country so the atheism is strong here and the religion are almost dead here, even the jw congregations are rare so basically is hard or impossible to find a group hwo understand our wiew about how to be free from man teaching doctrines and study sincerely the Bible like first century Christians. Maybe me and my family hwo can start that. Anyway here the congregations have low rate of new baptized that almost in whole congregations are only elders and ministerial servants. Until I find something I just continue with my wife in patriarchal way to read bible and study in family find topics, sharing in family the Lord Supper and be beoreans. My kids are small, but definitely I want to raise them and teach them in the freedom of Christ and to be familiar with the reading of the Bible in family in every appointed dayand later to teach them the basic teachings of the Bible! Thanks for encouragement! Nothing is impossible when you have faith, after all Jesus said in my favorite quote from Bible in John 14:23.

I still pray and hope. I have struggled with the mad prophet for years. My mother was the one who taught me, the many witness teachings. I am always grateful she took the time to present to me what made her hope. Sadly when we discussed the many things of the religion shortly before her death, the bitterness and the guilt could be seen, for she felt misled, and misled even her family.I said, many things to comfort her that day, to make her not feel so despondent. It was the last time we talked before she died. She knew, and I knew, we made a big mistake, but I let her feel it would be alright, and Jesus was waiting for all.

Mr. Allnut I’m very familiar with your situation, I talk to my mom all the time about what I have read in the Bible, given her bible scriptures and she gives me this puzzle look. I thought I got threw to her, she said,” where would I go if I leave?” All the other religions are false teaching.” I didn’t tell her anything. She finally admitted to me that she has always felt not worthy and doesn’t think that she will make it. I hugged her and said,” Mom you believe in Jesus Christ and GOD he knows your heart. Pray ask GOD for the Holy Spirit to guide you to the truth. Don’t ever feel that your not worthy. GOD loves you.”

This quote is often incorrectly attributed to Lenin, Hitler or even Goebels but is in fact from a book “The Crown If Life” by Isa Blagden written in 1869. In any case this has been and continues to be watchtower’s weapon of choice. The weapon of defense by which it fails is truth.
Welcome back Eric! I spoke to the Elder who I studied with and helped me understand Bible truths, and he recognized I was awake from the doctrines of JW. I saw all his rebuttal talk through different eyes. He called me spiritually weak! I have never felt better about learning about Yahweh and his Christ from the Bible's viewpoint ONLY! I am grateful to Yahweh for you. You helped me to see all along what I thought was wrong with the Organization. And now I am free to study them without someone putting their ideas on them. It reminded me of the Pharisees and the Sadducees when the apostle Paul put it before them about a resurrection. They argued and became divided.... That's same holy spirit that was on Paul and moved him to say that is the same holy spirit given to that brother
This is a wonderful testimony to all of us who are here in this.. but it is also 100% proof that Jesus judgment is upon the watchtower society.... They are in fact sinning against God's holy spirit

Excellent video! I was raised in the JW organization from about 3 years old, left a couple years ago at 48 after in depth study and research and reading the Bible with an open mind 5 to 6 hours a day every day for about 6 months and seeing the difference between the theme of the Bible, Jesus Christ, and the theme of Watchtower "survive armageddon" and so forth. One of the last things I told my mom before being disfellowshipped was that ' it upsets me when a group of people say they are the only way to be saved, Jesus said he is the only way ' That organization claims we need Jesus and Watchtower. No! Jesus is the ONLY way. I refer to them now as Watchtower or the Watchtower Church or JWs because I don't want to make negative statements related to the name Jehovah, I believe that organization has no right to take the name Jehovah and put it on themselves, they are bringing reproach on that name. I am currently being shunned by my parents and brother, it is very difficult and I miss them greatly and I resent being labeled an apostate because I am NOT an apostate to Christianity which is what they believe. But I am thankful to have my wife, my daughter and other family members.

Eric, first I want to say THANK YOU AGAIN! It’s so nice to have you there talking about everything I have felt, and feel still. When I was disfellowshipped, I thought first, this is not “loving”....not “Christian”....Jesus would never shun someone who was weak in the flesh. The son returning to his father after spending his inheritance, the father welcomed him, showed him love and support, and then the son changed his ways. Then I thought, why was I not just “reprimanded”? I had “repented”......and then I thought....who are they to accept my “repentance” anyway. That is only Jehovah who has that right. Through Jesus. So why would I even confess my sins to them, and repent to them? Sounds a bit like I’m talking to a priest, at a Catholic Church whom they condemn. What gives them that right to accept MY repentance for reinstatement? If your not a witness you will die at Armageddon, and if I start thinking for myself, and asking questions like this, I’m an apostate. So, That’s going even further, they really don’t stop at being Jesus, that’s going right into thinking they are God, because at Armageddon if your disfellowshipped , and now an apostate, your going to have a severe death and punishment greater than the average man.
The GB is not inspired. Jehovah never used anyone who was not inspired as his spokesman. Period!

I was almost going to be baptized as a "Jehovah's witness" but wasn't. It has been a big angry baatle between me and my parents. They are always saying that Satan has me by the hair and that he is making me his puppet. All these terrible things...
But i still love them just as my lord Christ commanded me. I showed this video and it seems like they've changed a little bit. I need to lovely, paciently and piecefully try to show them the truth; that Jesus is the way, and NOT men. Thank u for all the videos. Wow wow wow! I am speechless! This is so amazing! I have been there and done that. i have experience same when talking to my former jw teacher who came by to share some of their literature one day. I prayed when I saw them knock at my door. I wasnt ready to explained my thoughts about the organization but they were there so i prayed and ask for wisdom to be able to say what i needed to say. it was wonderful to be able to explain my thoughts to them in english so well, I am spanish from PR. Anothet thing, I am reading the bible frombeginning to end ,I am reading the easy one to understand, (the new Living translation)and the deutoronomy passage you are refering to i e your read it and have the same thoughts and reasoning you express here. i love it when i find other true christians having the same thoughts as i do , because we are really truly searching forGod’s thruth and we are finding it. It literally makes me so HAPPY and thrill to know Iam not alone. By the way, the sister told me she will request and elder to come by so i can have my questions answered and guess what? They never took the time to come by is being about 6 months now... what does that tell me? I too have a recurring sister who keeps coming back and your experience has helped me to realize I need to pray whole heartedly for that wisdom about what I can say to them when they come for a visit again because I too have a hard time trying to explain all the truth I've come to learn about this organization. It's also key to understand what exactly is the definition of a prophet, which gets into another way the JW's will try to deflect blame. The Websters definition includes...."one who foretells future events: predictor" and "one regarded by a group of followers as the final authoritative revealer of God's will".

Oh my goodness, you mentioned Mr Wilson that one could stand to lose their spouse, well I am indeed one of those very people... I have lost my wife of 8 years to the teachings of the organisation. I have been the victim of ad hominem attacks while providing evidence from the organisations own literature, but to no avail, I indeed have failed miserably, perhaps because of the emotional attachment I have to my wife that I couldn’t find the right level of thought and preparation to best approach her with such damning evidence, however, I cannot give up.
After watching this video I’ve been given the inspiration to calmly digest the information and try once again using the material in the video.
I’ve told you this a handful of times Mr Wilson, I truly appreciate your hard work and dedication to pronouncing the everyday truth of the Christ and Gods word from the bible scriptures.
It always encourages me to study study study the bible scriptures myself in context and using exegesis.

I feel your pain Brother. I was DF based completely on satanic lies. I am now looked at worse then What they call apostates. I am a single Father raised my daughter on my own. she was 19 2 years ago and almost bed ridden when I was DF"D. They told her vicious lies. when she told me what the told her she had the biggest broken heart and the most tears I have ever seen. She would not listen to a word I said. She packed her bags and moved out. They took her away from me. I had since been in the ER over 30 times. My heath has returned But she would not talk to me even on my death bed. But that is what it took for me to see that I could never make a difference from with in. Now as My strength has returned I am in a position to make a difference form outside The satanic GB and their Org. My heart breaks every day for my daughter, my dear grandmother who I was so close to, other family and countless JW's that they have hurt by spreading the lies to. I am determined with Jehovah's help I will be able to make a difference and now I see from your comments, The comments of so many others, videos like this and so many more, The support we all have as brothers in the Christ. True love. we have found it. We will all rejoice soon and see the salvation of Jehovah.

Wow. This really helped shed some light on things. I've been watching you for about a year now and I appreciate your work. I left years ago and my mother is still there and I struggle a great deal with that. We talk, always have. I was never baptized because I didn't have all the boxes checked. I wanted to but at the time I still smoked cigarettes so that made me ineligible for baptism there. Today I see it as a blessing and I ended up getting baptized a few years ago elsewhere.
Anyway, this video struck me to the heart and I worry for my mother... She's virtually my ONLY biological family left or that has a relationship with me. Please pray for us both and I will continue to pray for you, brother.

Today's Governing Body claims, as Watchtower leaders always have, to speak in God's name. That is all it takes to claim to be a prophet, because a biblical prophet is, by definition, one who claims to speak in God's name. That claim can be true or false. Obviously a false claim makes one a false prophet.
A person or a group can set forth opinions, and if those opinions are clearly stated to be the opinions of men rather than the pronouncements of God, then such persons are not prophets, and if their opinions prove wrong, they are not false prophets. On the other hand, if those persons explicitly or implicitly claim that their pronouncements are really God's pronouncements -- unless they are simply quoting explicit statements in God's Word -- then they are really claiming that God has actively put his word in their mouths, and they are making prophetic pronouncements. Such pronouncements do not necessarily predict the future, although they can.
The Governing Body wants it both ways: on the one hand, it wants its words to be respected as if they came directly from God; on the other hand, when its words prove to be false, it wants the license to claim, "Oh, that was merely our opinion!" But if any JW points out that their words are wrong *before the GB admits it*, the GB's policy is to declare that person an apostate. Why? Not because the 'apostate' is making a false statement, but because he is contradicting the GB. In fact, the GB's definition of apostasy has nothing to do with God, but means holding and/or expressing opinions contrary to current GB teaching. That holds true even if the GB changes its teaching to match the 'apostate's' opinion (see W86 4/1 pp. 30-31).
Watchtower leaders have sometimes argued that, even though they have often explicitly or implicitly claimed to speak for God, such claims are not claims of direct inspiration, but merely of a sort of never-defined "guidance" or "direction", i.e., some kind of nebulous and undefined quasi-inspiration that lets them off the hook when things go wrong. However, J. F. Rutherford made many *direct* claims of inspiration, i.e., that angels put information directly into his head, which he then passed on to his followers. While today's GB is more circumspect, their claim to be God's "channel of communication" amounts to the same thing. After all, a communications channel has someone putting information in one end and someone else receiving that information. The GB claims that God/Christ/angels put information into the input end. Furthermore, a proper channel does not change the information, but we know quite well that this self-appointed 'channel' has often and grossly changed even the words from the Bible to match its traditions.

Yes, in listening to a Bible scholar that seems to get the truth out, reminds us when we're reading those particular scriptures where Jesus is talking to the disciples, not to read it as Christians would today but put yourselves in the position of the Jewish people and their questions and what they were pertaining to back then... I just wanted to say that I appreciate all your fine work and research you have been doing. I have been waking up for a year. I had a whole heap of old publications in my loft and am so greatful for your quote from “ freedom of the sons of god “ publication. I had been putting the publications respectfully in the fire the previous year “ to keep them out of apostate hands who would twist them “ . Something compelled me to stop burning them. As a result I have been able to read in my own copies ( from my parents old library ) the very things you have quoted at times.
I have one question : how can I help my loved ones to wake up? I try to present all the information. But it seems it is either met with hearing instead of listening. And looking instead of seeing.
It’s been over 12 months and I am still met with a resistance that is scary to behold.

You can wake up a person who is sleeping, but you can't wake up a patient in a coma. They have to come out of the coma themselves. Only then can you help them.
If your family is still willing to talk to you, then be gentle and very discreet. Ask questions that make them think, but don't answer the questions unless they ask for details. Subtlety is the key to guiding them to truth, but if the heart doesn't want truth, there really is little one can do.
However, the situation in the world is changing and the sins of the organization are becoming manifest and hard to miss. I believe this trend will continue and grow worse for the leadership, so perhaps we will see a change of circumstances and a mass awakening. I hope so.

Its like Jesus was describing the Watchtower when he said that many will come saying he has returned in secret as this is EXACTLY what they claim...He has returned, but you cant see him. He is with us though and if you want to get to Christ you MUST come to us and bow to the governing body as your masters..err we mean your faithful servant God has provided to lead you.

rs 136 Have not Jehovah’s Witnesses made errors in their teachings? Jehovah’s Witnesses do not claim to be inspired prophets. They have made mistakes.
Wrong: They claim that Jehova himself called them 'his prophet'.
Rev 11:. 3 I will cause my two witnesses to prophesy for 1,260 days dressed in sackcloth. ... 6 . 6 These have the authority to shut up the sky*+ so that no rain may fall+ during the days of their prophesying,..10.. because these two prophets tormented those dwelling on the earth.
The governing body applies these 'two prophets' on "God’s anointed ones who took the lead" form 1914-1918 (w14 11/15 p. 29-30). So Deut 18:22 can be definitely tested on the teachings from this time.
If the "two witness"-prophecy applies to the group (Rutherford etc.) - then Jehova himself called them prophet and let them prophesy.
Testing the teachings from this time. Possible results:
1. They were wrong - so false prophets
or
2. These 'two witnesses' dont apply to the group around rutherford. Than there was no appointment of a 'faithful & discreet Slave'

I think it’s very interesting about luke 21:12-15 interestingly enough they the governing body tells you exactly what to rehearse before hand they tell you exactly what your study may ask. They are not allowing Jehovah or Jesus Christ to bring us the wisdom that we need because they have Jesus Christ governing them so therefore all the answers and replies to the door to door witnessing was instituted by Jesus Christ therefore they don’t have to allow Jehovah to help him and give him the words that they need. I also think that that Deuteronomy You mentioned should be how to know whether or not someone is a false prophet that is literally them. Countless times they’ve told us that the end is coming in this is that And they were wrong. Thank you for helping me establish they are false prophet. I have not been to the kingdom hall since 2003 and recently when I tried to contact them to ask them about when the meetings were they did not write me or call me.
