Anybody that gets really hurt dose’nt move they don’t roll round Refs get your heads out of your arses you should know when they scream out and do the triple jump they are not injured
Ironic that we’ve never really heard Danny mention Salah when talking about diving. Don’t get me wrong, Salah is a brilliant…but he also goes down very easily.
Arsenal fan here, so obvious bias but I think the question is should it have been a yellow rather than nothing. Once your foot goes over the ball, you're playing a dangerous game because the pedants will always shout "he went over the ball" regardless of whether there's danger/lack of intent to hurt/loss of control. All 3 of those were missing from Timber's challenge, that's why we should be questioning whether a yellow was too much, not too little. And then you get a professional pundit like Jamie Redknapp arguing that Timber was "very very lucky" not to see red! How is this man still paid to give his opinions?
Yes but then the media and the cling ons on here would be saying "They're ruining the game with all these reds" Honestly, you can't win when you've got dummies commenting on things they can't understand, just because they've been whipped into a frenzy. Look at the last few years.

What happened to the rule from last season when a ref would send a player off to the sidlines to get checked by medics for 3 mins before coming back on that was supposed to be the thing that stopped all the play acting
Danny-I’d suggest you don’t watch Latin football matches. Particularly South American football. It’s non-stop diving, complaining to the referee, time wasting tactics to the extreme, and the matches stopping every 30 seconds with player shenanigans. The difference in England is Latin players antics aren’t tolerated and they have to significantly reduce those type of antics. But when you watch a Latin game with overwhelmingly Latin players it’s often unbearable to watch.
The Southampton forward Diaz had minimal contact at the most with Newcastle's Fabien Schar, and rolled around to get the Newcastle defender a straight red. IMO he 100% cheated the ref. The authorities then backed the play actor up, and ruled in his favour. If the authorities are going to reward cheating, don't expect change.
I have been watching live football for over 50 years. My love for the game is dwindling fast because of the cheating and ‘professionalism’, but also because of the monopolising of trophies by the same three or four clubs. It has become a billionaires playground and all hope for the other 88-89 clubs has diminished.
Saying Anthony Taylor is the best EPL ref says a lot about the poor state of english football. Supposedly the «best» league in the world have the lowest standard of refereeing in the world.
start by clamping down on players like grealish, Gordon, fernandes etc, constantly diving and falling over for absolutely nothing. you lot praise it as buying a free kick but it's just blatant cheating
How has Taylor crafted this image that he's Englands best ref? The guys a joke as far as I'm concerned. Hes ruined far too many Chelsea games, including cup finals, for me to rate this guy. The yellows for delated restarts etc.. fine, were all on board with that sort of thing. Sancho just having a word with him is yellow worthy though? Come on.... And as for Danny Murphys comments, I think its genuinely hilarious a player from his generation to have a pop at current players behavior. These days these guys live under microscope and for the most part are well behaved, go have a look at entire teams surrounding refs and pushing them about in Dannys day. He should get off his high horse.
Let's face facts - all players are cheats in one form or another. Mainly I'm sick of seeing the scum at corners - shirt-pulling, holding, tripping, arm blocking and so on. It's ridiculous, and they call it the beautiful game? Technically these are fouls and if penalties were awarded the game would be cleaned up at least on corners.
Porro guilty of this yesterday, barely touched and screamed for 20 minutes
Like rice against Brighton
@@gl3814Rice clearly got kicked
Somehow Porro even managed to soldier on without the help of the magic sponge!

Spot on mate, the worst thing is the refs act like they don't know what's going on
If the Refs were fair the number of times defenders get away with kicking Saka alone would break the record for yellow cards for a season.
You can easily use VAR to punish people like Porro

Salah not a great at all
Understatement...
He is definitely cheating 💯
Harry Kane is the king of diving not salah

Timber gets to the ball first and makes no attemt to harm Porro. Porro was late and puts his foot under Timber. Not even a yellow for me.
Agreed

Should be straight red for diving, play acting etc. Either on field or after post game video review. Would be out of the game in a few weeks.

Bang on Danny. My thoughts exactly!

Let's see how brave Taylor is when Fernandez and co are yelling in his face mob handed.

Power trip refs?
Danny spot on yet again. Highlights much of the hypocrisy in football
Danny Murphy has never once complained about mo salah, firmino, mane, etc. diving. Pure bias as usual from Danny
The authorities were obviously not too happy with Taylor's performance as he won't be a pitch referee this coming weekend.
I don’t usually agree with DM as his era started the rolling about but too many referees today referee with their ears instead of their eyes???
It's unwatchable. Pansy football
Call Pedro Porro out.
No issue. The whistle goes, you go. Away! Be professional.
5 Match bans for cheats
Different subject but why are keepers holding onto the ball for 20 seconds & throw ins are back to taking ages……?
Its about time simulation was punished, maybe even retro actively. Its basically cheating to get your fellow pro sent off and the fans hate it.
