    Very inspiring man. One of the best breakdowns on RUclips. Im curious to know how much veg tan leather did you have to use to make a pair of shoes? (eg 2ftx2ft?)

    • @MercuryDIY
      @MercuryDIY  2 года назад +1

      Maybe 6sq feet. It is veg tan leather ie the tanning process and not vegan leather if your looking to buy.

    for the collar, did you flip the leather around and painted black on the fuzzy side? if so, nice idea to give it that aged look! all in all, this build is amazing and love to see your work with foxtrot uniform

    thank you for the video!
    can please tell me what foam you used at 4:28 for the tongue
    and how you connected to the foam the black fabric 4:55
    any type of adhesive?
    thank you for your time

    • @bk3911
      @bk3911 3 года назад +2

      Foam would be a fusible foam stabiliser of some sort, so it can be ironed on to adhere to the fabric. Hope that helps
