I like all the camera focal length of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra especially the telephoto lens which is 75mm & 120mm. While the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra telephoto lens is 67mm and 111mm which is kinda wierd but not bad.
The Xiaomi 14 Ultra has hardware supremacy but under-cooked software.
But, still Xiaomi flagship smartphone have potential.
The S24 Ultra portrait telephoto lens is 67mm

I hope for the S25 series, Samsung finally uses a 1-inch sensor, even if it means going down in megapixels. There's only so much software can do. Also, it's time to update the ultrawide and the 3x.
Also, someone said something that really stuck with me: instead of getting rid of the 10x, upgrade the 3x so that the sensor crops to 5x without losing resolution, and keep the 10x, which could be further cropped to 15x, making the zoom on the Ultra even more powerful.

I really didn't like front camera of my S24U. It is too contrasty and sharpened. My S21U was perfect.
S24 ultra seems sharper, more color accurate, also more punchy.

Yellow tunes and low contrast give no natural aspect to Samsung...articifials sharpness as well on long range zoom.

Here in the daytime shots, the S24U photos have more realistic colours and better (more realistic) highlighting of shadows, while in the night photos and videos it is clear that in most cases the S24U's dynamic range and handling of peak highlights is much better. (Of course, for a perfect analysis, it would be necessary to examine their detail reproduction in real size, at 1:1 pixel level, in a variety of situations.)

Xiaomi 14 Ultra : melhores câmeras ass Leica, 20% a mais de zoom, bateria carrega de 2 a 3X mais rápido, tela pouco mais brilhante, IR controle remoto de vários aparelhos., mesmo processador, porém até 20% mais rápido nos benchmarks, tela dual edge, Dolby Vision, 04 mics, auto falantes assinados.
Bom, q me lembre, acho q são essas as vantagens de um pro outro.

Your test is not at all interesting because it only highlights the Xaomi while we can clearly see that it is behind the Samsung in terms of photos!! Strange approach ! A Chinese RUclipsr testing a Korean product makes you laugh :)

And where is the "abysmal difference" of the one-inch sensor??? But if the photographs come out better on the Samsung, what a disaster from Xiaomi, and on top of that there are reports that the camera module fogs up due to condensation and Xiaomi does not want to know anything or recognize the problem (the same thing already happened with the Xiaomi 13 Ultra on last year).
It's all marketing, if the lens that covers the sensor is not large enough to take advantage of it, because if it were, there would only be one camera, and not four (because they don't fit), in the end it is the same as a regular sensor, since It only uses the central part, so the inch is worthless, as shown in the photos.
Of course I am not fooled with the Sony Lyt-900 sensor, until a camera module like the Lumia comes out, I am afraid that this is a claim to sell, the results support my statement.
For me s24 ultra have some better properties in photography speaking.... And 14ultra has same better photography properties too.... Both of them aren't perfect in all photos....and in my country xiaomi is a very little bit cheaper than s24ultra... Photography speaking i like them both for photography.... But u do prefer s24ultra not just only for photography but i do prefer it in all aspects cause it's a more complete phone 🙏
The Xiaomi is really good, but too inconsistent, and above all, it's a disaster in photos as soon as there's a human being in the frame.
I'd really like to see a Galaxy S Ultra with the camera hardware of Chinese smartphones one day, but I know it's not likely to happen anytime soon, when despite its clearly outdated hardware, Samsung does better than 95% of Chinese smartphones.
And for me, a smartphone isn't just the camera, if I just want a camera, I either buy a camera or I buy a 2nd hand Pixel 7 for $300 🤷🏽♂️, so it's not tomorrow that I'm going to let go of my Galaxy S Ultra.
