Anytime you get a nut or Bolt in a hard-to-get location, I always put a little masking tape over the Inside edge of the socket. That way, when you push it over the nut or Bolt, it will hold it snugly in place in the socket when you lift it out. Makes it easy when your rethreading the letter boat back into place. You're not trying to reach down in between a bunch of stuff trying to thread it.
Thanks for posting this video. I was able to replace the side motor mount on the passenger side, by following your instructions. It was very helpful. The only problem was I had to get someone to help center the cap while I pushed on the engine itself forward towards the front so that the cap would fall into place because the engine had tilted backwards.
I love these cars. they are so easy to work on. ive mostly owned toyotas but since owning the 6 my opinion of mazda has changed big time
Do you guys have a video on changing the other motor mount?
Excellent job- explained very well, she obviously knows what she is doing
+cspringsreal Thanks for the feedback!

Description says this video is applicable for 03,04,05,06 but in the video you say you're working on an 07. It looks the same as my 08 as well.
Can you do o2 sensor replacement for this mazda?
Awesome work!!! Do you'll have a video on the 03 Mazda MPV rear motor mount? If not I need one lol
+firebird14420 Thank you! At this time we do not have any videos showing this installation but are always expanding our video library. We would suggest checking through some other RUclips channels or forums for your vehicle.
@@1AAuto thanks yeah I found 1 and it wasn't as thorough as 1A AP :( hope I can get it and please hurry expanding that library lol
@@1AAuto And you're welcome, love y'all vids!
I know I'm shooting in the dark here but is this similar with the 3.0l?
+Brandon Vollmer We don't have a how-to video for your vehicle right now, but the basic steps in this video should be enough to do this task.
@@1AAuto thank you, and actually it was very similar!
On the '06 V6, I found the top bracket has 3 nuts holding it in place vs 2 shown here. There is also some electrical component on a bracket on top of one these nuts. Needed to wedge something in front of it to keep it from spinning when loosening.
It's like the one in rf5c 2.0 diesel engine.
Unfortunately this is the passenger side mount not the drivers side. Passenger side everything is easier!
I need the v6 video if the same car
+Faris We do not have a video for this repair right now, but we'll keep this request in mind for a future video! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-c
What about the v6?
