But 99% of the time I can say every word along with him on these videos, and I still laugh.

I would much rather they make fun of the audience, us hillbillies or any other stereotype. Since the passing of Robin Williams and finding out how often people who make us laugh are slowly dying inside, I can’t take this kind of humor. I really hope he didn’t die by s***ide.

He has so many videos that are funny...I discovered him at 2:00 am , Couldn't sleep and it was the Bed bath and beyond bit he talks about. I had a client back then who worked there and I couldn't wait to tell her about him.. I was laughing so hard by myself the tears were rolling. She ended up knowing him .. as the hair salon I worked at was in Malden Mass and she lived in Malden,,, He had gone to Malden Catholic High School at one time, and her whole Family knew him...

For me, he was one of a handful of favorite comedians I cherished. Whenever I watch his videos now, I laugh hard and tear up afterward. He was such a good person aside from being a funny comedian. He tried to better his health, but just tried to get better too fast. He couldn't stay away from his fans and his work. To pass too young seems to be a theme for comedians. He outlived many, but I still wish the world had him around. Thankfully we have the internet and can enjoy his humor any time we wish. Rest well, John.

I grew up literally across the street from John in Everett, MA. I saw him live and my stomach just hurt from laughing so much. He truly was the funniest person I have ever seen. RIP my friend, you made us laugh so much.
I lived in Everett too and worked in Malden, And I know he went to Malden Catholic, He's my Favorite Comedian. I've watched his video's 100's of times ... they just don't get old. I still have his Obit on my fridge saying how he went to Malden Catholic.. I miss him, and I did get to see him once at Foxwoods... RIP JOHN....
If there was a list of 50 best stand-up specials of all time, and there are probably many, I can't imagine that this one would be absent from any of them.
His comic material was perfect he didnt have to curse or anything too over the top. He had great delivery and timing. He made so many of us laugh hearty, good laughs. What an iconic American comedian. He was a significant part of what makes this world good and his passing has left a void. I pray that God continues to give us charismatic, unique individuals that walk the comic path to strive for the love, fame, acclaim, and revel in the laughs that we give in return. Although we do not question death, may he rest in peace. It is such a switch from the hard core stuff that is over powering the audiences these days.

He never verbally attacked anyone, but he still managed to be over-the- top funny. He was very likeable, and respected for it. Personally, I miss him. A lot. I can vouch for John’s version of Indian food. The last time I ate vindaloo, I ate it with a vengeance and ate almost everything in the bowl. You try that, you better have a snowball, a bidet, or at least a pint of ice cream on hand. The flavor doesn’t matter. The relief does.
I thought I had a pretty high tolerance for spicy, considering I put hot sauce on a lot of stuff and always order Extra Hot when I get wings. Then one night I ordered Indian food and chose "medium" spicy because I had never tried this place. It was still REALLY spicy. It was good going down that evening, but not coming out next morning. My housemate and best friend is Indian. When I told him about it, he laughed pretty hard. And I said "it's a good thing I chose medium, cuz that was nothing like North American medium. Your spicy is DIFFERENT."
The first time I saw his "You go now!" clip here on YT, many years ago, I laughed so hard my Sprite came out of my nose. Went right out and found all of his DVDs. I treasure them, and everything else that has popped up here on YT, from interviews to Just For Laughs clips. What a beautiful man!

This man had a remarkable talent. For the entirety of his performance, he kept me laughing continuously and not once did he stoop to say anything crude, lewd, or use any profanity to make me laugh! He was so funny and cute. So clever. I wish other comedians could be more like him.
