Hibiscus are such gorgeous tropical flowers that really lend themselves to watercolor. The key when painting a pretty pink hibiscus like this is to achieve the full range of different pinks within it - there are a lot when you really look! Whilst still concentrating on getting the tonal range right so it pops off the paper. In this little video I give you a taste of how I tackle it.

Love this flower and the process! (The above link to your site doesn't work. I found the problem; it's the apostrophe at the end that's causing an error message for www.annamasonart.com%21 ).
P.S. supportive camera types, needs and hints would also be appreciated.
Can you tell me how to sketch a hibiscus flower I can barely see the lines!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Hi Lin, I made a tracing of the flower from a photograph. The lines need to be very light so they don't show through the paint. We do have line drawings in my online School that members can trace, otherwise I'd suggest finding a similar photo to make a tracing from.
I challenge you to
Paint a background
U never do that
