Nicely done. i appreciated putting the lightest overall tone in, then doing the darkest places. I find it is easy to get lost in a complex, detailed subject.
Beautiful! Unless it's very simple, I find the drawing of an open rose daunting, almost impossible to do; I get lost in a maze of petals and the end result looks more like a spaceship than a rose!
@@maryk1668 I use a Chief ceiling projector mount (B&H Photo) and a small Epson overhead projector to transfer the image from my computer to my watercolor paper-once the projector is set up, coping the image is enjoyable and wonderfully accurate. Judging from the accuracy of Anna's drawing, I suspect she's using a similar setup for her drawings.
I\'m not sure but ,if anyone else wants to uncover easy way to paint flowers lessons try Pyzork Floral Paint Professor (just google it ) ? Ive heard some unbelievable things about it and my cousin got amazing success with it.

For a beginner who has no experience, how do I know, from the drawing, where to leave blank spaces for highlights and mid tones to dark? Are you clear how to find those in your classes? I have not the eye to see these yet. 😔
