I have owned a 70 Z28 since 1981 and fixed cracks and missing parts of the plastic in the console that holds the rear ashtray with the 4 screws. Using Permatex Plastic Welder that hardens like a rock in 10 min can be drilled, sanded and filed and best of all, comes in black. It worked very well. Back in 1981 I used HD Hot Glue which was ok back in it’s day. All my repairs were not visible from the outside, they were all internal.
