Made this flight arriving in ABQ from BWI late in the aftertoon of Sept. 1, 2014. Since then 3 more times, but mostly from Chicago. Our trips originated in Jacksonville, FL. 3 hours is my limit, so I avoid the BWI connection. ABQ is often rough because of the terrain & wind, but in 2017, we approached from the west and it was smoother. Going out there again, by way of Chicago on 7-4-2019. I am a volunteer on the Cumbres & Toltech Scenic Railroad and ABQ is the closest airport. Hertz rents me a vehicle & it is 160 miles to Chama, NM but an easy drive. Most folks in NM are very polite drivers, but I pray for their safety if they come to Florida.
