This had me crying. I’m so happy for them all. This is a wonderful happy ending for this. Plus I love dragons.
As a lover of realms of fantrasy this just made my heart so much lighter. They finally found there way back to us and I'm just choked up and joyous at this ending.

Can't say I'm surprised. If there's one thing that's universal about this world and everyone in it, it's that as you grow older, the world and the horrific reality around us stamps out each and every form of childlike innocence and fantasy. The ones that can retain it and still be sane and happy are exceedingly rare. They are the authors, directors, artists and storytellers of the world. So this SCP story is essentially a love letter to our own inner child and the fantasies that we all had as kids. A resurrection of sorts, if temporary. It would take a very broken and bitter individual to actually dislike what this SCP and story represents.
Years of pain at the lose of our dragon friends. Now happiness in just 11 minutes that can last a lifetime

Can you by any chance make a tale about SCP-2006, it's basically a shapeshifter that loves scaring people but the scares are mostly corny and almost hilarious (the foundation gives it false information about scary things on purpose to prevent a catastrophe). It's one of the most underappreciated scps

@@epicassassin8502 saw it,loved it but I was hoping SCP illustrated to take his own interpretation on the SCP. In the file, the interview (if you would call it that since only ONE question was asked) felt short.
Actually, now that you mention it, I'd love to see him do a side story where 2006 finds all of the things that *actually* scare us...and the aftermath of that.
I say that because while the SCP entries are great, the lore expansions are the things that really put this channel and his work over the top. Like, he and Cimmerian are the patron saints of the When Day Breaks canon for me now.

The original broke my heart and made me feel like I was watching my childhood imagination die all over again as I grew up in a very hard life. Reading this rekindled a spark of it deep inside me and gave me hope.. Thank you

True it Bring me out of the depression I've been feeling I truly am so happy I remember watching the story with the box in the scp foundation and crying as a kid then I just seen the beginning that was a game I'm unsure if I ever watched that part as a kid but that made me cry right before this cause all the feeling came back it's been so long since I've last cried and I realized even if it was sad I was so happy to see the story the story that bring me hope then I see this and watch this I truly broke down and cried happily I really needed this so much I've been so sad lately not knowing what I want to do that this was the best thing too happen this is a story I will never forget I'll always love it the sadness and happiness I've felt is amazing I love and wish for it to be real at times but truly the best thing I have ever seen I love you and I will not forget get you ever

The ''things Dr. Bright cannot do'' it's more a joke than a real thing in the regular canon as I understand, Bright holds an important position in the foundation and he has helped them, they have no reasons to doubt or stop hime since they don't know his motives to enter the room, and could have the respectives autorizations.

Good lord I can’t help but smile for this story since the original SCP was so final about them dying out which stung like a knife and made it not feel like goodbye and with this story it answers questions about what could happen if an SCP was used to reopen the gateway to their world
Much like SCP-1762 being a metaphor for the reality of growing up and the fantasies, the games, and stories you enjoyed all fading away, this story is like a metaphor for what happens when you cherish those whimsical fantasies enough to pass them on to younger generations, letting them breathe new life into them and let them be able to live on.

Starting on Sunday I'm running a dnd campaign about this SCP. The goal will be venture into Fantasy and return the dragons to life. This has been fantastic motivation and best believe I'll be using this imagery in my descriptions. Thank you.

I really wish there could be a SCP tv show or something.
It’s such an amazing online story, and I know that licensing is an issue, and of course fans can have their own headcanon.
I mean, the SCP has already confirmed multiple realities anyways, so the idea of a Netflix tv show or something being separate from the online website wouldn’t be totally more breaking.
Netflix has had a few shows that kinda copy a bit from the little I have seen.
If you want a show that kinda fulfills that wish, Warehouse 13 is a excellent one, there’s no humanoids ones but there are artifacts that have powers like for example Gahndi’s sandals will make you feel perfect peace, so peaceful you forget to eat or drink or sleep. Or a quill that when you write with it the words come to life like writing wall and a wall appears. It’s good, I wish more people watched it cause it’s good.

The first time I ever read SCP-1762’s entry, I cried. The seventh time I read it, I still cried. Watching this video, seeing them return, I cried again. There truly aren’t enough wholesome SCP’s, but the ones we have are god tier.

Never thought I'd see a canon where Bright goes rouge.
Well, aside from THAT...
This fills the gap in my heart everytime I see mention of 1762 since it's one of the most heartbreaking stories in the SCP foundation imo. The OG author never went anywhere with it after the box turning to ashes story so I am glad to see someone else step up to give this SCP the ending it deserves but the author never gave himself.
A sequel to one of my favorite SCP stories that turned out better than ever. Congrats.
1) Dr Bright is allowed to fix cosmic wrongs and make us cry. Just this once.

i like this take, but personally, i had an idea that i hoped to see even more than this one
rather than a tale in itself, an update to the article, marking the scp as de-neutralized, and "coming back" from its ashen state. the dragons leave a cryptic message along the lines of "thank you for rekindling your belief. thank you for finding us again. we will surely see you in all our glory soon, friends"
after some foundation investigations, a researcher tied to the scp comes forward and reveals that they had been telling their child stories of the magical land in the box, not posing it as a box, but rather like an actual magical land, and this renewed belief was just enough to bring it back from nothing
i always liked the idea that "build another room" didnt mean physically constructing something, but rather simply restoring belief and fantasy into the world

the original scp file is about the death of childhood hopes and dreams, this Addendum to that SCP file simply states that such things only die if you allow them to.

My god this was amazing! I never even thought about 239 being able to bring back 1762, and I nearly cried when I saw the box and dragons! Too bad bringing back scps wasn’t in the long list of what Bright isn’t allowed to do, but probably will be after that. I hope those 3 have all the D&D adventures their world has to offer. Thanks for making this!
If it wasn't by the fact that my family is here, I would have let my tears flow. SCP had always been a dark, unforgiving world. From the anomolies that inhabit it, to the Foundation that contains them. But, in the many timelines created, its seems there is always something the there. Not fear or blood, but innocence. The wondorous, untouched world that is a child's imagination. Maybe what makes SCP so attractive is the fear it induces, but there is something that will forever be remain within our hearts; the concluding line for every fairy tale.
