Nonetheless, the gameplay and story are an outright improvement over EDF 5 and gives a satisfying extension and conclusion to EDF 5's story, allowing you to make power plays that reward your efforts and having the NPC's gradually come to realize that you're a protagonist. If you've played EDF5, play EDF 6, but the management choices for the port were SHIT and nearly ruined it. It had desync issues, would FREEZE YOUR CONTROLS every time you got an epic games achievement, and outright ran worse than the previous title, despite using almost entirely the same maps, physics, weapons, effects, and entities. Some guys hacked it to remove the epic games integration, and it RAN BETTER; no desyncs, better frames, no achievements PAUSING YOUR CONTROLS IN FRONT OF ENEMIES ACTIVELY SHOOTING YOU.
and as I said, the translation GOT WORSE between 5 and 6. The EDF sing you can sing? It was the same in Japan as EDF 5, but they MADE IT WORSE BY MISTRANSLATING in the 6 port.
Nonetheless, the gameplay and story are an outright improvement over EDF 5 and gives a satisfying extension and conclusion to EDF 5's story, allowing you to make power plays that reward your efforts and having the NPC's gradually come to realize that you're a protagonist. If you've played EDF5, play EDF 6, but the management choices for the port were SHIT and nearly ruined it.
The Epic Games integration is no longer needed, thankfully, they realized how shit a move that was in under a week, but it soured reviews on launch.

@Ventriii If I remember correctly, Thomas Jefferson ordered the metric weights from France, but the ship carrying them was brought off course by a storm. During this time British privateers raided the ship and captured the crew and its cargo, meaning that the weights never made it to America. Although even if they did there was a small chance congress would approve the metric conversion.
