If i remember in sonic 3 & knuckles when we chasing eggman he is faster than us So i think that if sonic.exe want to chase canon eggman he will not catch eggman because he is faster than sonic

I mean eggman has literally tried catching a prototype of orbot and failed back in Unleashed. You saying that eggman made a robot faster than his greatest creation in terms of speed Metal Sonic?

Eggman always had a plan in games, and even if that plan was derailed, he always worked around it. Adventure with Chaos, 06 with Elise and Mephiles, Unleashed with Dark Gaia. Hell. Even Lost World with Zeti's or Forces with Infinite. Guy is not really afraid of any of those monsters and always have some plan to do it (Alright... stopping Perfect Chaos plan was not a good one...) but besides that he has something. 100% he would find a way to deal with Sonic.EXE

He loses to Sonic because he goes for bombastic, theatrical plans full of holes specifically to prove he's better than Sonic. Remove Sonic from the equation and you have a man who will casually destroy the planet to feed his own ego, now unshackled from his pride.
@@LucasTF I think I'm sure that's what the fans invented. Eggman loses because Sonic is impressively smarter than him, he can beat him even if he uses a machine capable of predicting all of Sonic's movements.

The IDW comics also have him literally say himself that he could carpet bomb Sonic any day, but that isn't good enough because it doesn't prove his superiority. It's the entire reason Starline starts planning to take over his empire, and then Eggman proves in issue 50 why Starline is completely out of his depth.
