- The best and worst Bulldog Skincare products! Bulldog Skincare is one of the best men's skincare brands with some really great, budget skincare products. But not all their products are as good as the others. What others hair, skincare or fragrance brands would you like me to do a 'Best & Worst' for?

What other brands would you like to see a 'Best & Worst' for?
khiels and Pete and Pedro
also Clinique
Mancave please, they’ve for a really high spf moisturiser. What do you make of that ?
ones like mancave , loreal nivea types which are easily available here in UK
love your videos btw and why not give us details about Brickell i think it's british brand as well
I love how he starts each video like he is surprised that we are here
Another great video Robin. Love your uploads recently. Very informative, loving the format !
Love the video, I use Bull Dog more and more as time goes by. Honestly between them and Dove it's my entire skincare routine brand selection for quality/value. Would love to see a full beard care video (possibly as a collab or mini-podcast) as a man that has gone slightly bald and has opted for the bald and bearded look. I know it's been voiced by other creators but I really value your opinion!
Awesome video, truly love your content.
Needed this 3 days earlier! I just bought almost all their products recently
Great video robin. I agree with your choices and i would add their shave cream to the dislike list.
Great video!
My man!!!! Love what you are doing. Please keep it up.
I do need some help. I cannot seem to find a moisturizer with SPF for oily skin.
Can you please help?
Thanks for all you do😉
I'd love to see a product review of Jack Black! I've really enjoyed their daily facial cleanser.
Great review man! Hope you decide to review the other forte products as well!
Need to get them but I'm keen.
Yet again another fantastic video Robin! I started using bulldog about a year ago and haven't looked back since - I think they're great! Also just tried their lemon and oak shower gel and it is beautiful. Would love it if this became a series - maybe looking at budget hair/skin/grooming brands, though I'd also love to see a best & worst of Kevin Murphy products
Thanks Jordan. Really pleased you enjoyed it. AND yes to the suggestions!
Enjoyed this one!
Cheers George.
While Bulldog are a budget brand, they really do have some great products. My parents bought me a Bulldog skincare set when I was 15 and that was when I started looking after my skin. Great video Robin!
Agreed! They really can compete!
I use their face lotion as a night cream, but I also use some peptides and retinol also. Their face lotion is just the right thickness and price point to be the "seal" on my other products.
I'm a huge Bulldog skincare fan. I use their oil control line mostly, for obvious reasons. But its nice to see a video pointing out which aspects of their products are good and bad. Most of my skincare is Bulldog skincare, from their body wash, to their moisturisers, to their shaving line. For the sheet mask, I find them to be nice. But I haven't been using them as of late, because I usually use them to help energise and moisturise my skin before going out. And well, I feel is its overkill using a mask just before going out to buy the groceries :P
I hear you. A mask is a good boost though, when you need it! Glad you like the line too.
Really insightful! I pretty much exclusively use bulldog products, sad to hear you're not a fan of the spf15 protect, I think it feels great on the skin, my gf is always complimenting me on it when I use it! (and feel like spf is still better than no spf)
Hey there Robin, great video! I agree, their products are amazing! I wanted to get your opinion on the bulldog face scrub? What's your views? I have had them for a while and it instantly leaves your skin feeling buttery smooth!
I got bulldog Oil control moisturizer randomly but to say it was awesome. And I didn't know that they have a beard oil nice to know.
Man you're doing good work keep going
Thank you!
@@ManForHimself my pleasure
If you have a beard, the bulldog beard oil is AMAZING. I always come back to that one over all the other ones I’ve tried
Yep!
I found the beard oil did nothing for me or my dry beard skin :( Have been preferring the King C. Gillette one recently.
@@aleccino hmmm everyone’s skin and beard is different so I get that! I’ll give that one a shot too
I really want to try their face wash and moisturizer. Choosing between original and oil control line. I have combination skin, slight oily around nose area. So I don't want products that are over drying. The oil control line has witch hazel, which is a drying ingredient. I am just afraid it will over dry my skin. However, I also like a light moisturizer because heavier oilier one will cause breakout on my slight oily area.
Yess to the low SPF rant!
Hi Robin, have you tried mancave products? Ive been using them lately and all vegan and great products.
Robin, my son is getting into that pre-teen adolescent phase where he gets home from school, smelling like he has a dead horse under his armpits.. You think this deodorant might be good for such a young lad? Since it's all natural and stuff? Love your vids man!
I was hoping to get your view on there beard shampoo as I find it drys my beard out. I still use it as I love the beard oil.. have you ever tried johnny's chop shop? Thats my go to
I have the Original Face Wash and it's absolutely worth every penny.
Perfect video Robin.. You are a Mind Reader.. Just use Energizing Face wash. It works well. Any Anti aging moisturiser you recommend???
Absolutely. The Age Defence range is great.
@@ManForHimself Awesome.. Thank you Robin...
I would be interested to see your take on good value shampoo for men.
Robin can you do a video on after shaves cheap classics and niche?!
I've used bulldog from day one. All Ways been good quality. My Mrs now uses the face wash as it's best she's found for her skin.
I can get 3 months of bulldog skin care, including a twice a day wash, 2 moisturises, serum, under eye, shampoo, shower gel, hand cream, lip balm, exfoliator for around 70 pounds. To me, that's a great deal. Just trying the age defence for the first time, skin is a little red and tight but that happend to me initially even with the sensitive moisturiser
How about the bulldog sensitive line or their age defence moisture?
Hi Robin great video. I started using a good few of bull dogs products about 6 months ago and loved them. I have recently found that I'm getting a lot of dry skin on my face and that the bull dog moisturiser isn't satisfying that. So trying to strip back my routine as much as possible. Any suggestions?
Whats your current routine?
@@ad_182_uk the basics pretty standard
I like Bulldog Original moisturiser have you used it? I tried Nivea men moisturiser it was shite
I went with bulldog because I was looking for something good but much more affordable, and hearing a lot of good reviews. They sell a lot of products on their website.
Can you use the bulldog oil moisturizer on sensitive oily skin ?
For me I use bulldog beard oil, it’s good and has a lovely green tea smell and gives my beard that shine it needs, the shampoo and conditioner two in one is rather rubbish, I’m talking about the beard shampoo, I feel like I need a palms worth of liquid to even make it lather, whilst the oil and it’s container is perfect, it gives you the drip opening so you don’t have to worry about using too much oil.
What do you think of The Ordinary line? They are affordable but they don't tell you what each product does.
Robin, What's your opinion on the Bulldog face scrub? I use it and I really like it
Hey! As they go, I think it's good. But I have stopped using scrubs now. Might need to video update!
@@ManForHimself yall rocking with the chemical exfoliates?
i love bulldog product so much they are been so good for me for long time for a cheap price
What do you think abt the green tea moisturizer?
I m unsure if i buy the sensitive skin or oily skinny ... any tips ?
I use the bulldog age defence serum and moisturiser at night and a brand called Natio (Australian) with SPF 30 in the morning for out doors.
What's the best for evening out skin tones and blemishes/spots
Hi Robin,
Could you make a 3 (or 5) mistakes when styling long hair (or just hair in general lmao)
Could get some use out of them as a Halloween mask
Ha ha! For sure.
Love to see best and worst of VO5
All are shite
Now I now your secret dear, you rock ✌ oh man, I forgot about using my eye patches 🤭
I done the clinical trial with this energising face mask and it was pish I agree
I prefer pump bottle in shower gels 🙈 but I could put those in bottle tho... BUT THEN NOTHING TO READ IN SHOWER :(
Thier beard oil and shampoo is amazing
Do they contain any phytoestrogens?
Have you tried their scrub? The exfoliator of their brand.
Their age defence moisturiser is quality!
Another great product from them is their After Shave Balm
Has anyone use the new Bulldog Hair Shampoo ?? Any review for that products ??
I’m a newly growing (9 weeks so far!) bearded man.
I use the beard oil, balm and beard wash.
Happy it is UK 🇬🇧 made and natural.
🇦🇺🏄♂️💦☀️🦘🦘
What about bulldogs age defense serum?
Not doing many fashion videos these days robin? It’s a shame! Missed them! Looked up to you a lot
There’s no where to go right now mate
I really enjoy BullDog, especially for the price point. Their Beard Oil is a daily one for me, the others I'm mainly using when I'm on the road. At home I normally like to use brands like Aesop or La Roche -Posay
Ooh, love. Fabourite products?
@@ManForHimself From Aesop it would be the In Two Minds line and from La Roche-Posay everything Toleriane, they are all great products!
Also I really enjoy the fragrences Aesop has to offer as well as their Room Sprays
Does the shower gel moisturise the skin too Robin?
Hey John, not so much. It's more a clean and go.
@@ManForHimself do you recommend a gel that does? I do have dry skin and tend to use Dove soap but need a more 'manly' fragrance, if you know what I mean 😂
@@johnno6999 go to holland and barrett and search ‘jasons shower gel’ should be an aloe one that would suit.
Bin gespannt :)
Hope this helps!
@@ManForHimself I use the products since your first video you talked about them. Bad skin and pimples are history since the first week of using. Greetings from Germany :D
Have you tried their “Sensitive Face Wash”? If so, what are your thoughts? I bought it recently but I haven’t tried it yet.
I haven't, so I'll need you to tell me, please.
@@ManForHimself I’ll probably test it out today so I’ll happily let you know my thoughts.👍
I bought their sensitive face wash, face scrub and moisturiser.
Made my skin so bad I had to go to a dermatologist who diagnosed it as acne... never had acne before.
So i would say its awful :)
They claim natural this and that but some of the essential oils can be very disruptive.
@@ad_182_uk Well I’m looking forward to testing this out now.... I’ve only got the wash so hopefully it shouldn’t be too bad.
@@ad_182_uk I swear by the sensitive face wash and moisturiser as someone with easily irritated skin. But the face scrub isn't great and smells kinda bad.
The reason for not increasing the SPF is that it becomes very difficult to keep it natural the higher the SPF.
Exactly, also, you don't want a day cream consisting almost exclusively of filters. That would make no sense; you can use sun cream for that. 15-20 is plenty for a "hybrid creme".
A video on how to increase hair density and thickness
Indeed, it's important to use SPF, "even in winter times" they say, but in my opinion it ruins face creams, it creates this really annoying layer of film that feels bad and sometimes almost "dry" it just feels off in so many ways, that's why I simply don't use them and buy the ones without. I use a dedicated sunscreen on top if I'm at the beach or other places where I'm exposed to extreme sunlight. It is really hard to create a GOOD cream with SPF in, and I have tried many, and so far, no good ones. I'd rather stick to the many good ones without, and buy a dedicated SPF on the side.
Pretty good. Very nice flavor, but not strong. Gone after 1 hour
Do i use the beard oil before the moisturizer or after?
After
Has any one purchased a Dunhill icon absolute recently? Noticed a couple reviews online saying they’ve changed the formula and I’ve bought it recently and it does feel like the longevity and the sillage isn’t what it used to be. Might just be me though
Not sure how recent you mean, I bought it back in May and have been really impressed by the longevity - I put it on in the morning before work/school and there's still a bit left the following morning!
@@JTmovies101 fair enough, I purchased mines in March and I feel like it fades after a few hours. Again I noticed some reviews on Amazon I think feeling the same way - but I can understand if this is just a me problem 😂
Ah, that's no good. Let's see what everyone else says too.
Hello Clarice! 🤣🤣
Ha!
A men's L'Oreal range review best or worst. Products. As it's a reasonable priced brand that one can pick up at the supermarket
I love bulldog, wish they made shampoo and conditioner, I would totally switch over.
@hij too expensive for 250 ml
@sneDDo no they don't they only make it for beards
They have just released a shampoo
I think they have. Check their website
@@Poopdeck1015 ah just in Uk not canada rip
My worst Bulldog product is their 2 in 1 beard shampoo and conditioner. I hate it when companies do 2 in 1s! They never work.
i just bought their beard products ie oil wash and balm they r a bit too lemony for me they r good and cheap but i don't know why lemon smell is very overpowering
Ah, that's no good. The beard oil shouldn't smell like lemon though.
Can you get the best of each product from different or the same company. For example hair oil, hair mask, shampoo, conditioner and more. Find the best of each
You can mix and match to suit you.
@@ManForHimself can you recommend any?
Tesco have Bulldog gift sets on sale right now.
Are you a Guided By Voices fan?
Bulldog products are great.
Agreed!
you should try the Forte series products
I've tried two! ruclips.net/video/VRuqqmLq02w/видео.html
Please, mention me a best hair clay.I see your all videos but I'm confused
Rough Rider by Kevin Murphy is one of his holy grails
Some of my favourite clays here: manforhimself.com/product-tag/clay/?fwp_sort=rating
Yeah, looking at the “Holy Grail” products in general on his website would be a great place to look.
@@honestyisthegucci but kevin murphy have synthetic fragnence, silicone and quaternium-95 that's harmful for your hair also
From reading the comments, I guess im alone in feeling disappointed in their bodywash. Smell is decent and I like that it's natural. But it just doesn't lather that well and it seems like I have to use more than I should.
Nah i had bulldog original shower gel and personally i loved the smell and it lathered good for me
Hold up I'm finally his second view😳
Nailed it!
The Protective Moisturizer is the WORST!!! I used it for only 3 days and my eyes burned! I even had a blister on my eyeball! Maybe from sweating? Never again!
All of the bulldog products are good... For me..
Bulldog Beard oil is the worst beard oil i ever used!!!
Pumped the girl from last night 😂
👍
Thanks bought a bull dog face wash after watching this
lab series best and worst
fastest (missclick)
👏👏👏
Ha ha! Well, thanks for popping in!
@@ManForHimself as always
Not to brag but I’m pretty sure I have oilier skin than you
Overpriced rubbish. There are some old school products that do the same thing for waay less money than this stuff.
I’ve tried bulldog beard oil but it doesn’t take away the itching on my face. 👎🏻
