Shannon I am one of those people Carolina Reaper no problem,I personally think on a general percentage that the Trinidad Scorpion pepper is generally hotter too me.I grew up eating hot peppers out of my neighbors garden because me and the neighbor dad were the only ones who could eat them so I have a tolerance built up after decades of eating.Side note I’m 56 and never had heartburn or acid reflux.
I'm a fire-eater as well. 1 pepper for an entire bag would not be enough. My issue is I actually get upset when someone lists something 'extreme spicy' and it's nothing. Like all the 'ghost pepper' chicken and burgers that have no kick at all.
Pepper D by Inked Gardener is submitted to Guinness for the new record of hottest pepper. Supposedly it’s much hotter than a reaper but the growers haven’t said what it tested at. I have seen people eating the pepper and it’s brutal.

Had the Creeping Reaper before, and it's as actually pretty good. It's still pretty hot but good to eat. Callyann said she was concerned about her stomach and tongue...well, there will likely be a concern of another function later. 🙃🙃 One of my favorite TRY vids. At the end, Ciara mouthing the words "the biggest" was hilarious! All in good fun. Ciara and Dermot are fantastic. Every pairing in this video was perfect.
I would party with any of the Try channel peeps. All a great crew... loads of fun to watch and listen to. They play well off each other and just enjoy the experience... unless its like reaper time or durian day.
Homemade jerky is better than store bought any day and dead simple. You don't even need a dehydrator. Just put your oven on the lowest setting, prop the door open a crack with a wooden spoon and check on it after about 5 hrs. Put the meat in a ziplock bag with a simple marinade of half Worcestershire sauce and half soya sauce with a dash of liquid smoke. Add as many dried chili flakes and fresh cracked pepper as you like. Let it sit in the fridge overnight. Use the racks of the oven to drape the strips of meat over and remember to put a dripping pan under the rack to catch any marinade runoff. Cheers.
