The worst thing I've ever seen a new rider do is back when I was a technician at my dealership. Guy comes in after passing the MSF and buys a brand new Ducati Panigale and paid cash, but didn't buy a single bit of gear. Signed the paperwork and rode off the lot. Literally 10 secs later we hear a crash. He popped a wheelie with whiskey throttle and completely totaled the bike into the back of a suv.
First thing i did was to purchase all necessary gear from top to bottom then went to get the msf class we got here in Europe then went back to my unstructor and took a few more classes and then bought my mt03. After a year i traded my mt03 for a 2023 MT07 and im loving it, plus feel more confident when i ride. Still got a lot to learn and will never stop learning. Loving your channel buddy keep it up 🍺

Here in the uk theres 4 tests. A days traing this lets you ride up to 125, a theory exam, a mod 1 which is mostly low speed skills. Then mod 2 where an assessor follows you on the street for about 45 mins. You arent allowed to do the asessments unless you wear gear. Many complain about the time and expense but since introduced it has had a massive impact on deaths and injuries. Get lots of training, wear good gear and see it as an investment in your safety.
My dear Cruza, I was scared to look up to bykes not to ride one, until a year ago. I’m 40 now. Never rode before then.😊 Before I took classes I wanted to buy a Vespa 300gts. Then I took classes and fell in love with MT 07 when I learned how to play with it , forgot that Vespa even existed. My first bike ever to begin with in driving school. I respected the bike from the first moment I sat on it, even I managed to pop the wheelie accidentaly during my classes until I learned how to control the throttle. After a year now I ride it like Bmx. I bought one and I’m growing with that beast. But before I bought the MT07 , I went to the store and spent 2000$ on safety equipment, top class everything including the turtle airbag. I feel like a NASA astronaut every time I sit on the bike and I like it 😃
Here in nz we have to do a learners theory for 6 months then a practical restricted liscence for 12 months then go for our full license and it all costs everytime. And if you fail,you pay until you pass. Or if you do a defensive riding course it gets shortened
I did in 2012. Arrogance took over. Did not get into motorcycles for long time because moms brother was killed on one before i was born. Did not want to upset her getting a bike despite loving bicycles. After was about 30 decided screw it it is my life bought a scooter with her help mind you. Rode in subdivision a bit, thought be a bad ass and just go take the test. Their course was behind building and tiny narrow. I failed. Ended up doing a walk in for msf. Classes fill real quick. Take it with a community college though it is free just tip the instructors. Harley charges like $300. Aced the class took a few years off when moved away again but have not looked back. Now back here taking carebof her. After not a clue kinda want to escape winter go somewhere can ride more.
if you need knee down on the streets you are going crazy fast i do it sometimes but only to practise before i go to track but my speed is to low to really use it on the streets
they're more prone to crashing than a car, doesn't mean it's guaranteed and it's very preventable. I mean they can't even stand up on their own without a stand, so all that together just makes people assume they're more dangerous than cars. yes and no, you're less likely to kill someone on a motorcycle but yourself but, it's whatever, gotta learn and protect. I thought a honda goldwing was really cool and wanted one until you realize it's probably the #1 worst motorcycle for a new driver, it's up there anyway. non riders look intimidated by even just a 100-500cc, so going 600-1000 should be much later in life and that's not really advertised. I don't know how it is for cars but I was told an old used mustang/Camaro was too much as a new driver. after driving a different sports + sedans trucks and suvs, I still don't understand that concept but maybe a supercar is not advised for a new driver, so look at bigger motorcycles like that except they're cheaper and more dangerous heavier. I love my honda navi, it's not the fastest but it gets me places, I wanna upgrade to a honda rebel or yamaha vstar eventually.

first thing I did was take my gf on a ride. lol I always make sure my squid stuff happens when I am alone. with 2 up I make sure that person makes it where ever we are going.
First things first before getting a liscence or a bike....if you have any bit of scared in you about riding DONT DO IT.Stick to cars,its fear that kills.
What I can't stand is the "tippy toe" noobie. The 4'-6" inch guy or girl that wants to ride a 1000 CBR, but can't place their feet flat on the ground. They always end up dropping the bike at a traffic light.
The MSF class is a joke and a scam. I've been riding as a kid for many years without any problems. I took it and got my endorsement years later just to be legal.
I purchased my first bike before taking the MSF course. Hit a mail box and just had to “lay her down” LOL. Neighbor laughed his ass off. Finally took the msf course and been riding 3 years since. Love it, and my second bike is a Honda rebel 500. Love the bike, and I kind of like smaller cc for street. Maybe a track bike in the future. But I would again start on a small cc

How come there is no video diversity in your videos/channel ? Same videos over and over again and this is why i stopped watching. What happened to " bugging out " ? What happened to test rides? No wonder your subs are stagnant, no offense. Its good to diversify.
I do all kinds of videos :Dual sport, supermoto, cruisers, sportbikes, life, motivation, van build and travel, ,motorcycle mods, etc, etc. Every now and then I do stuff for new riders even though I've covered similar topics, old videos get buried and I get new viewers every day. My channel has always had the main objective of motivating people to ride and helping to keep them safer. Last video I did was talking about my gripes with social media and the way the world is now, how is that not diversity in topics? Out of over 2k+ videos in 12 years I have probably covered every topic about motorcycles.

I don't know how it is for cars but I was told an old used mustang/Camaro was too much as a new driver. after driving a different sports + sedans trucks and suvs, I still don't understand that concept but maybe a supercar is not advised for a new driver, so look at bigger motorcycles like that except they're cheaper and more dangerous heavier.
I love my honda navi, it's not the fastest but it gets me places, I wanna upgrade to a honda rebel or yamaha vstar eventually.

first thing I did was take my gf on a ride. lol I always make sure my squid stuff happens when I am alone. with 2 up I make sure that person makes it where ever we are going.
First things first before getting a liscence or a bike....if you have any bit of scared in you about riding DONT DO IT.Stick to cars,its fear that kills.

The worst behavior I see is dad with a child on the back, wearing no gear other than a helmet. How any parent can think that's okay... 🤦♂
What I can't stand is the "tippy toe" noobie. The 4'-6" inch guy or girl that wants to ride a 1000 CBR, but can't place their feet flat on the ground. They always end up dropping the bike at a traffic light.
I wouldn't ride to my mailbox without wearing a helmet, let alone riding gear.
The MSF class is a joke and a scam. I've been riding as a kid for many years without any problems. I took it and got my endorsement years later just to be legal.

I purchased my first bike before taking the MSF course. Hit a mail box and just had to “lay her down” LOL. Neighbor laughed his ass off.
Finally took the msf course and been riding 3 years since. Love it, and my second bike is a Honda rebel 500. Love the bike, and I kind of like smaller cc for street. Maybe a track bike in the future. But I would again start on a small cc

How come there is no video diversity in your videos/channel ? Same videos over and over again and this is why i stopped watching. What happened to " bugging out " ? What happened to test rides? No wonder your subs are stagnant, no offense. Its good to diversify.
I do all kinds of videos :Dual sport, supermoto, cruisers, sportbikes, life, motivation, van build and travel, ,motorcycle mods, etc, etc. Every now and then I do stuff for new riders even though I've covered similar topics, old videos get buried and I get new viewers every day. My channel has always had the main objective of motivating people to ride and helping to keep them safer. Last video I did was talking about my gripes with social media and the way the world is now, how is that not diversity in topics? Out of over 2k+ videos in 12 years I have probably covered every topic about motorcycles.
