I've been driving for 4 years and I love coming to your videos as it generally helps remind me of little things I forget. Love seeing Erin as always, she's a star
You are getting better and better! Don't think that you failed, because that's the moment you will make mistakes. If you think you did, accept it and carry on driving the best you can. Keep on learning and you will pass with flying colors!!
I've been following Erin's driving lessons since I started learning in January , even now that I've passed (after over 50 hrs of lessons due to waiting for tests!) I'm still rooting for her !
The confidence will come, i started off learning really nervous but having a good instructor definitely does help with that. I passed my test a few weeks ago first time so you’ll get there Erin just takes time
Erin is a really sweet girl and can become a brilliant driver when she gets that self-doubt out of her head. Her only real problem is a confidence issue. If any young driver gets behind the wheel of a car believing that they are going to make loads of mistakes, then they will. Concentration, awareness and self-believe are top ingredients for success. The driving Instructor makes all the difference and is vitally important for that confidence boost to their pupils. Aman scores at peak level for this.
I agree with this comment so much. I’ve had trouble with awareness and concentration in the past but as soon as I gained confidence they come with it. Also, if you keep knocking yourself thinking it’s gonna be a bad lesson it probably will be so don’t do that and you’re good!
Yes although I disagree with a couple of serious fault shown here, I guess driving instructor's tactics and hints can vary a lot from a country to another.
the most important thing is to seriously listen to your instructor, jokes are good, but when you have such a good instructor, it's good to take all the advice into account ! it's just my opinion 😁
Everytime i watch these, I am so thankful i dont live in the UK where driving seems to be some obstacle course set on hard difficulty for no apperant or practical reason.
@@Goat.Herder You say that, yet living in Finland it's not so (imo) unnecessarily complicated and still rank at least in the top 5 or higher in all of Europe. And last I saw, Finland was significantly ahead of the UK in terms of RTA's, although things could've changed since covid.
@@Goat.Herder Sure but I'd argue there is a reason that the majority of RUclips driving lesson videos are based in UK. Obviously people and especially young people seem to be in need of more help there relative to other places. Also notice that you pivoted from obstacles being necessary to make safer drivers, to now saying that there are no obstacles, just nerves.
@@Goat.Herder As someone who lives in London, you are 100% wrong on this. UK driving test is absurd and only serves to make the DVSA and private driving companies more money. It doesn't create safer drivers, instead it drains bank accounts and just makes the learners more stressed and anxious. The fact that there are 6 european countries that have a better quality of driving and road safety than the UK whilst also having a short and simple driving test just goes to show, it's not the complex exam that makes the driver safe, but the roads themselves.
Erin could be a really good driver but, maybe I'm wrong, I get the impression sometimes that she isn't taking it seriously. Maybe it's just Erin showing a care free attitude when really she does care and is taking it seriously and that's fine but it's not what an examiner would like to see. I don't know if anybody else thinks that or it's just me.
She is. I’d rather see more calm students like Erin compared to those who work themselves up into a bundle of nerves. What you see as care free is actually the development of a good habit, especially when being on the road, and that’s staying level headed and cool.
Best thumbnail so far! Especially given the context that she is mid way parking while other cars are waiting for her, hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂. Wish the best for Erin!

I‘ve past my driving exam exactly 2 years ago (in Italy, Milan) and had been driving since 1 year almost daily (car sharing and now my personal car). I would argue that the “serious fault” while reversing (around 16:00) should be a minor. Since the car behind is waiting and, nobody is supposed to come on your right side. Even Bikes or Motorcycles would overtake on the right side of the waiting car. So Erin shouldn’t be worried too much on her right side/blindspot. I know the rules aren’t what I believe to be right, but thinking of it, a “minor” would be more appropriate in my opinion, what do you think? 🤔
Mock tests are very important and this is an example of good practice. To make it totally realistic, would the examiner not have a notebook, comment sheet or clipboard? Surely she can't remember all the faults by the end. Maybe they don't these days in order not to distract the candidate; I passed my test in the week we introduced decimal currency(!) so I'm a bit out of touch. She needs to do what Richard Fanders (Conquer Driving) does: at the start of the test get out of the car, then come back wearing a high-vis jacket, using a different name and with an alter ego like a grumpy old man.
I’ve had my first mock test today. Failed with 5 minors and 2 serious faults. 1 serious: progress on a rural bumpy and bendy road where only one car would fit comfortably but could squeeze two. It was a National speed limit. 2nd serious: reverse bay parking: perfectly done but I didn’t move back enough so the front of the car was sticking out slightly. Have my test in two weeks.
The serious at 10:00 for the roundabout is pretty harsh. The road markings for her lane are almost entirely worn away. I have a licence and I can see myself making that mistake for the lane she wanted to end up in (behind the red car at the second set of lights on the roundabout).
She has a bad habit of coasting when pulling up, literally just goes straight to clutch even before slowing and coming to curb side. Surely 17:20 was a minor at least. Driving wrong side of the road and cutting across the junction and markings.
I do have sympathy for Erin with the whole “Turn left and left again”, that would’ve gotten me very confused. I’m a dyslexic learner driver so I know that would play a part for me. But looking at the comments, I’m not the only one thinking that. But Erin shows some fantastic qualities, as soon as she starts to believe in herself, studies the show me/tell me questions and slows her manoeuvres down she can smash that test. Go on, Erin! Agree with the second not the first; in the first had she stopped behind the black car to judge the gap then I could see that, but she had already gone far into the gap when she came to a near complete stop.

06:30 Some cars have tiny indicator lights like this, quite difficult to notice. 🧐
Erin went into that test expecting to fail so she fail.
Can somone please help? At 9:50 does that red car in front of Erin take the wrong lane? Did they cut off Erin? Or what they did is fine? Im so confused
Erin be like: "I've seen the videos of us now, I know when Aman's doing a pouty expression at me" :D
Stay focused erin you'll get it done
She concentrated more today, she's probably like me and works well under pressure. I think she will pass if she just has a couple of more lessons to fix the errors
Keep going erin ❤
"I instantly regretted my decision.." 😂. Shades of Anchorman.
They should make you do a walk round check ✅ of your vehicle before each lesson or test ...I know when i did my HGV driver 🚛 training ...you checked your vehicle every time...this should be happening with car driver training as well.... just a thought 💭🤔..
Why did you not give a minor on first roundabout? No. left mirror check on exit?
