The one thing that upsets me, they WAITED until he got the JJ Reddick podcast appearance, and THEN fired him. Especially after they fought with him about it
You guys need to relax. Espn is about entertainment. Imagine a tv network prioritizing entertainment. You want smart and nuance go listen to the news or something. I want to be entertained I don’t need someone teaching me the game and xo. I’m not gonna play it
That's the point. They're emphasizing the E for entertainment over the S for sports. Some people actually want to understand what they're watching but they won't be tuning into ESPN, or rather, EPN.
@@dhruvadude808 but they are talking sports sir. They are not talking about the economy. So why would you take the S out? Just because you don’t like the way they approach their sports talk doesn’t mean they are not talking about it. Almost every network has gone through change and transformation over time for better or worse espn isn’t the first. They follow what they think the trend is. Some like it others don’t. I don’t mind it. Like I said I don’t need someone breaking the sounds of the sport down to me.
@@dhruvadude808 ironically most of these channels that complain about espn not being about sports do exactly what they accuse espn of. I never see any nuance sports discussion of this channel. It’s mostly story line and gossip. Lots of biases too depending on who they are a fan of.
@@tomstorm7926 I watched ESPN for Zach Lowe because he explained a lot about my favorite sport; now there's no reason for me to watch ESPN anymore. I don't comment on your choice of channels yet you feel justified in telling everyone to relax. How about you mind your own business and let others mind theirs!
@@dhruvadude808 but sir you engage with me? This isn’t your channel so you wouldve been totally fine ignoring my comment because I don’t remember calling you out by name. Yet here you are while telling me to mind my business. Maybe you’re just in the mood to argue with someone today
The fact that Malika Andrews is promoted and Max Kellerman and Jeff Van Gundy are gone tells you all you need to know about ESPN’s values.
I swear you guys are only obsessed with her lol.
DEI BS
It has nothing to do with values. It's just that ESPN prioritizes entertainment over sport analysis, and it's not just them, other channels too.
@@megamanxhunter That’s what I mean by values…”$ over fair, nuanced, insightful programming.”
@@margarinetaintedgreen8140 Well, that's what the people mostly want.

He’s taking a shot at Pat like he always does.
WOW MILLIONAIRES GETTING LAID OFF AT A NETWORK I STOPPED WATCHING AGES AGO , VERY CONCERNING
Why don’t Bill Simmons hire Zack Lowe? It’s easy when its not your money
Mad dog Russo still has a job tho
He has to be a hell of an employee when he’s under the boss’ desk
I’m glad the comment section isn’t blaming this on wokeness lol.
Stephen A Smith is stinking up the joint by making ESPN BET SPORTS
